Okay. Once you've been to St. Anne The Tart, your standards for coffee shops will be raised forever and you will never see other coffee shops as anything comparable ever again. So, proceed with caution. I've warned you.Their baked goods are unlike anything I've ever had. Each recipe is carefully crafted to introduce you to new flavors and textures, and it's amazing.The baristas are lovely, and always friendly and making good conversation.The green house is absolutely charming and beautiful, it almost feels like a fairy tale.Upstairs, you will find an eclectic collection of seating, perfect for a casual hangout or study session.HANDS DOWN the best coffee shop in Dayton.

My Momma mad I did the $30 greenhouse experience and it was just lovely. Anna, as always, was a gracious and warm hostess. The drinks and treats were delicious. Highly recommended!

We arrived after they closed and the nice person working there still welcomed us in to purchase some treats and offered us free coffee. Super kind. The cafe is gorgeous. I didn’t realize until this visit that there is an upstairs area as well. It’s really beautifully done, very airy.

I stopped by with a friend today after realizing our first option had closed their dining room. I am thankful for this change in plans however because I was blown away with the people and atmosphere of The Tart. Their employees’ passion for their amazing food and charming atmosphere were amazing to see. Our barista thanked us for waiting in the short line outside and went through the menu with us and even recommended her favorite table upstairs. She talked about their upcoming projects to offer people a safe space to gather with COVID restrictions in the upcoming cold weather. I was also touched by the way she spoke of their local community’s support and their love for their community. I also respected their following of sanitation and distancing guidelines and their kind enforcement of said policies. I will definitely be making a return trip and recommending to everyone!

Ok. It's a cute place. What I tried was good. But as an indulger of pastries across continents and as a resident over time of 3 very expensive cities, I must regretfully remove a star for their prices. I got a cookie ($4) and a slice of bundt cake ($8). $12! (I would not have bought both had I realized the prices but like a high-end jewelry store or a Lambo dealership, you will see no prices posted in here) (second paren: I have no idea if they put price tags on Lambos). By the time they rang it up I was too sheepish to say never mind, keep your Lambo cookie. Anyway. For Dayton this seems a bit absurd. I hope they are thriving, of course. But personally I can't see paying this much for baked goods next time I'm in town. But genuinely- cool name, branding, and decor. Glad to see my hometown can sustain places like this.

Please, please, please stop by The Tart. We made a last minute stop by based upon the reviews of previous costumers and were so happy. We had been camping in Arizona and Utah previously so went for the high carb sweets but the egg and savory dishes looked awesome. We were greeted by polite and friendly staff, as is the custom in Dayton I’m guessing, and felt so welcomed. Next trip through Dayton, we will stop by.

I would say this is my new favorite coffee shop!! The girls there were so kind and helped me find the perfect fall drink! I really enjoyed the sipping my coffee in their cute upstairs sitting area. If you haven't visited St. Anne the Tart yet I highly recommend it!! I will definitely visit again :)

So many wonderful new taste combinations! All of the scone flavors are delicious. The sausage cranberry one reminded me of the best tastes of Thanksgiving. Be adventurous, fennel tart, cream biscuits with homemade jam, cherry turnover with black pepper, it's all delicious. Unique, tasty, and everything I tried, I loved. A great example of a local bakery that is a pleasure to visit and support!

I ordered a Homebody Cookie Jar order recently or a prefilled cookie jar with some delicious St. Anne the Tart cookies. I arranged a pick up time the day prior and found out late the night before pick up that I would not be able to come by due to needing to be at work. I messaged the staff in every way I could since my arranged pick up time was in the morning trying to make sure I could reach someone to let them know I would not be able to make it, and felt bad to have to reschedule and on such short notice. I offered to come by a later day in the week if able. Anna reached out to me that morning and offered to personally bring my order by the hospital where I work, or to meet me at the Cafe whenever my shift was over- whichever would be best for me. She was so incredibly kind and went out of her way to do something so generous as to use her own time to make sure I got my order. I got to share the delicious cookies with some of my coworkers and husband when I got home and they brought smiles all around. Thank you, Anna and St. Anne, for your incredible kindness and for your heart and soul you put into your work! ❤
