I usually don't have a problem waiting half an hour from the time I've placed an order...if I've been told it'll be that long and on the occasion I have the time to make the wait. When I call and am told "it'll be 10 or 15 minutes", arrive five minutes after the call and while paying am told, "it's on the grill", followed by "five more minutes" and it's then another twenty five minutes, that's unacceptable.When I saw my order was near completion, I stated my discontent with the stated times being off to which I was told "we can give your money back and you can go to our Salem Ave. store if you like". Seriously. I paid for and took the sandwich since it was done and I was already going to be late.Don't tell me "there are only two of us here" (there were three behind the counter the entire time I was there), as if that's an excuse for misquoting the time. Be honest on the phone when someone calls and say it'll be half an hour so customers can make an honestly informed decision if they're willing to wait that long.As I said as I left "with the attitude you've shown, I'll never come back to this location again". Fortunately there are two other locations of Submarine House that are within my travel paths where I've never experienced any customer service issue.Additionally, the music blaring out of the kitchen was way too loud. I felt bad for the older family eating there while I was waiting. Another lesson learned....don't leave a tip in the jar, as I did, until the food is done. I assumed my food would actually be done in a timely manner...my bad. Time was after 5 pm, Feb. 27, 2024.

Awesomeness my sub was the best!! I’ve ate at the other submarine houses but no comparison to this one. They make the best . Once you eat here you will see what I’m talking about.

So disappointing. This place used to be delicious. I ordered two half subs an order of teasers and an order of onion rings with a side of tzatziki sauce and a brownie and it was $50. I can spend the same amount at Texas Roadhouse and come home with leftovers and be happy about my experience. They deliver with the DoorDash without letting you know. My sub had stale bread and was basically falling apart before I started eating it. I absolutely love tzatziki sauce with my teasers and I didn't get it with my order even though I paid an extra $1.10 to get it. It'll be a long time before I think about trying this place again. I would avoid

Super Duper Cheesesteak sub used to be a delicious meal they changed something and it tastes nothing like it used to Very disappointed. Not to mention its WAY OVER PRICED! I will never do Business with Submarine house again. WHAT A BUCKING I GOT! BUCK ME ONCE SHAME ON YOU! NEVER GETTING BUCKED BY SUBMARINE HOUSE AGAIN!!!

Well. I don't leave google or yelp reviews to date. But I do check and read them. I might have to start leaving some. Good thing I didn't check tripadvisor or I wouldn't have went to this place for lunch. Most of the previous reviews on here don't do it justice. Well the cheesesteak sandwich was the best I've had. The sauce on it was amazing. The kids really enjoyed the chicken fingers and fries. To be fair, it is a bit pricey. For a couple $ less this would be awesome. But at this price point I would go back when I'm in the area for a visit for sure. Wished they would put one in Indy. Cheesesteaks here are about average at most of our sandwich shops. Will be back at some point. Thanks for the great lunch!

It's kind of a blah day, overcast and rainy, so I thought today was a good day to try Submarine House pizza. I did not call ahead so I ended up waiting almost 45 minutes for my pizza, I actually considered just leaving and getting pizza somewhere else because I was hungry and wet from hiking in the rain. I'm so glad I waited, the pizza was good, surprisingly, not the best but it is much better than other local options!
