What a fantastic atmosphere! The restaurant has multiple seating options, and the hostess was incredibly thoughtful - she seated me in the perfect spot to enjoy the vibe. The service was very accommodating, and both the house margarita and mahi tacos were stellar. This place is absolutely a hidden gem!
An absolutely lovely spot for a date night! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming and the food was incredible. While I loved that the carne asada had a smoky char on it, I think my favorite parts were the appetizers and cocktails. We split guacamole and chile con queso and found that both of them had a nice balance of flavor, neither too spicy nor too bland. Additionally, the cocktails were spectacular. My sangria seemed to change flavor as the drink progressed and was sweet, fruity, and refreshing. We look forward to coming back!

Drinks were good ! It’s a different type of Mexican infused restaurant, I have eaten Mexican food all over! Cali, TX, Mexico just to say the least but this spot I would call boujie meets Chic all for looks Downtown Dayton , downstairs is the dungeon bar more fantastic drinks !!lol it’s a vibe!

First time visit and had a wonderful meal. Family and friends had all said wonderful things about Sueño and I was not disappointed at all. It is a beautiful restaurant with bar, table, booth and kitchen-side bar seating. Service was on the ball, attentive, friendly, informative and accurate. Had the Carne Asada which was beautifully presented, smelled incredible, and tasted amazing! Super tender and perfectly cooked to my favorite. The chimichurri was beautiful. The blue corn tortillas were so soft and subtle yet carried the meal well. Dessert was Tres Leches. Yummy!

What a fantastic restaurant! The food is incredible. As shown in the picture, the chile con queso, esquites, and papas were phenomenal. Not shown are the shishito peppers and the tacos de vegetarianos. Both of these were 5 star as well. The service is similarly wonderful. Meagan (Meghan?) was awesome and the server we had last time (Matt) remembered us from when we visited in June and he was likewise incredible. I don't know of another restaurant that I have been to recently that deserves 5 stars for food, service and atmosphere, but Sueño does!

Oh my Lord! Such delicious food! We stopped in and just happen to be able to take advantage of their happy hour. Which is phenomenal. Everything we had was so tasty even down to the chips and queso. I normally drink beer, but after one of their barrel-aged oaxacan old fashioned maybe I should start drinking more hard liquor. Such a beautiful interior too. Hopefully on a return trip to Dayton we’ll enjoy a full meal.
