Where’s the seasoning??!

What a delightful surprise to find this restaurant on our one day trip from Cincinnati to Dayton. Sueño’s food was indeed dreamy, from the guac & chips, to the shishito peppers laid on a cheesy bed, to the spicy pollo al carbon whose chicken was cooked to juicy perfection, to the tamales in a delicious combination of mildly spiced mole and light cheese sauce. The carefully designed decor was upscale to complement the dishes. We’ll be back!

We never have a bad meal here. The staff is welcoming, the food is spectacular, and it’s always fun to sit at the kitchen counter. We go about 4-5 times a year, and are working on taking our friends. Love Sueno. 😊

The staff working at this place think they are doing the customers a favor. The food is good but expensive. The lack of warmth and attention from staff makes this a sub-par experience.

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary here and the whole experience was a 10/10. The space itself is beautiful, the food is unique and exceptionally well done, and the service and hospitality are top notch. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and made our meal such an enjoyable experience. We're already looking forward to our next dining experience at Sueno!

Was not expecting to find a gem like this in Dayton, OH. Would need to book a reservation days in advance if it were in a larger city

Atmosphere is good. Expected a bit better food for the price but might have just been an off day. Service was just OK. It was appealing enough that I'd give it another try for sure though.

Probably the best restaurant experience we’ve had in Dayton. Food, flavors and service. Can’t say enough about Morgan - he was on top of everything. We will be back to have other dishes that also looked excellent.

Very good! A solid 4.5 if I could. Freshly made tostadas and tortillas make it. A little pretentious/overpriced, but I think that's what they are going for. Interesting takes on typical dishes, and an absolutely perfect margarita.

Parking: Beware if you park in the lot behind the restaurant (which you would assume they have spots in) you will be towed.

Real Mexican food in Ohio!! The ceviche, birria, cochinita tacos with a perfect chile de arbol sauce, the mushroom quesadilla, the corn bread, were the favorites. In cocktail I loved the rum with ginger. The customer service is 10. The atmosphere of the place is very beautiful. There is valet parking and from there everyone was very friendly. I loved Dream, congratulations to the entire team of people who work here, they are doing very well!! 🫶

If you're looking for a contemporary twist on Mexican cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. We recently enjoyed their Mahi Mahi tacos, and they were nothing short of exceptional. The fish was perfectly fried, flaky, and seasoned to perfection, served with a mix of fresh toppings that elevated the flavors. The warm, soft tortillas added the perfect touch to every bite

Sides were equally impressive and tasty. The roasted brussels sprouts were a standout—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and enhanced with a subtle smoky flavor. The ceviche was fresh, tangy, and vibrant, a refreshing counterbalance to the warm dishes

The papas were rich and comforting, seasoned just right for a satisfying bite. Lastly, the piquillo peppers were an unexpected choice, sweet with a slight kick, making them a unique addition to the meal

The atmosphere was modern yet inviting, and the service was prompt and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're a fan of innovative takes on Mexican classics, this spot deserves a place on your dining list!
