Went in to the new location off Salem they were out of curry goat but the lady over the phone was so chill and nice to where we couldn't just get nothing. Got oxtail dinner and the curry goat dinner and it was nothing but love atmosphere was on point attitude on point food on point THANK YALL FOR FEEDING US WHILE THE LIGHTS WERE OUT DUE TO THE STORM WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK

I was in town for work (live an hour away), so I dined in. I ordered oxtails with a side of plantains. The atmosphere and staff were genuinely warm and inviting. The food was AMAZING! The oxtails were tender, savory and moist. I enjoyed the oxtails so much that I ordered two more orders to go. One for lunch tomorrow and another for my co-worker. I also ordered the Jerk chicken plate to go.

Okay, so hear me out. I was famished and enjoy supporting black-owned businesses, so I brought my dollars to Taste of Jamaica for lunch. I haven't had proper Jamaican food since moving from the East Coast, and they understood the assignment! My intentions were to share this jerk chicken platter with my husband, but he wasn't quick enough. I cannot wait for my man to try the ox tails!

I ate here for the first time a few days ago and have not stopped thinking about it. I got the jerk chicken and it was SOOO GOOD. The flavor is incredible with every bite and the chicken is nice and tender. It just melts in your mouth in the best way!

The food was amazing. I didn't really care for the cabbage. But the chicken taste very fresh. I really felt like I was in Jamaica 🇯🇲 as far as the food 😩. I had ordered the jerk chicken and it came with red beans and rice and cabbage. Taste just like it do when they make it fresh from the grill in Jamaica. The young woman taking the orders was so sweet and had great hospitality. She was getting them orders out. Let's just say I'll be going back by next week 🥴

So much good food! I came and ordered three meals and a couple sides. I just wanted to try everything! And I did! My friends had nothing but good things to say about it. I thoroughly recommend trying this place out. It is a hidden gem and it needs to be promoted.
Order food for take out. I ordered a jerk chicken meal it was cooked well: rice and peas were decent but no real flavor. I’m surprised it didn’t come with any plantain. I tried the mac and cheese as well it need some seasoning , salt anything and it was mushy which was off putting .

Me and my husband went there today. Customer service was great!!!! Food was PERFECT! Will definitely be back. Oxtails are worth my drive from Middletown. Wish it was also dine in or formal restaurant. Can't wait to return tho.
