We’ve been lucky enough to dine at several of the restaurants listed among the Top 50 in the world, and the Omakase experience at Dozo absolutely holds its own. We were blown away by the quality of the fish and the creativity of the two chefs named Jake who prepared our meal. They were witty, engaging, and made the evening incredibly fun—truly a hidden gem in Dayton. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough.
Such an awesome experience. Bar tender crafted up something special + custom. Autumn was the best. Food was marvelous.

got my water and one drink, but after that? I haven’t seen my server in nearly an hour. No check-ins, no updates, nothing. It’s frustrating and honestly unacceptable to be completely ignored like this. I was really hoping for a decent experience, especially with the prices. At this point, i was ready to just leave. When she finally got back to my table (she wouldn’t have even came to me if I didn’t have to come up to the bar and say something) She was shocked that I didn’t want another drink??? Excuse me? Definitely not coming back. Zero stars if I could.

Came here for my birthday and was sat at a table for 3. We were asked multiple times when our other guest was coming, we said soon, put in drinks, and haven’t been checked back on in 45 minutes. My other guest has been here for an awhile, and I went to the bar to place an order and was told to sit down. Not too happy with my first experience
