My experience here was totally ruined by being placed to the right, in the back, by the kitchen entrance.
That area of the restaurant was overwhelmed with houseflies and fruit flies!
Well, why didn't l ask to be moved to a different spot? There were plenty available. That is valid. I have a hard time complaining...it is something ! need to work on, especially when it is warranted. Thai 9 is an atmospheric restaurant located on the outskirts of the Oregon district. The food selection is vast, and everything is well-prepared, even when the place is filled to capacity. The service is prompt, and the staff is attentive. Customers recommend trying the Tom Kah Gai Soup, a coconut milk broth with cilantro seasoning, and the Crab Rangoon appetizer, which is delicious. The restaurant also offers a wide range of vegetarian options. The interior of the restaurant is very nice, and the patio is a great spot to enjoy a meal. The Gyoza is particularly noteworthy, described as one of the best in the Dayton area. The menu includes Thai dishes like Pad Sea Ewe, green curry with chicken, and basil duck, as well as sushi, with a variety of alcoholic beverages like cocktails, beer, and wine. Customers enjoy the Chaitanic, a large sushi, sashimi, and rolls boat that feeds four people. Overall, Thai 9 provides a satisfying dining experience with good food and reasonable prices, making it a fun spot to come and dine despite some noise when busy. Customers have enjoyed the seating, miso soup, and fried rice, though some have noted inconsistencies in the cook time and spice level.
