We highly advise The Cakery for ANY event, from something small to a major celebration. We hired The Cakery for our daughter’s wedding on October 10, 2025. The cake was beautiful & delicious! The icing is scrumptious, not too rich & very creamy. The cake is very moist. We ordered enough cake for 100 guests & we only had 6 pieces left over! Actually we were disappointed because we were hoping to have more cake for ourselves after the wedding! This business is very professional: there is always someone to answer the phone & they are always polite & accommodating. They are careful with their orders. They offer delivery & set-up of the cakes for the wedding. Everyone commented on how good the cake was! And they also offer gluten free cupcakes which is unusual as many bakeries do not. I honestly cannot say anything negative about The Cakery & will get all my special occasion cakes from here from now on.

I love this place. This is one of my fav bakeries. My low stars are because EVERY TIME I come in to make a purchase, cupcakes, I always have to ask for the rep to wear gloves! They touch money, their hair, clothes, then touch the cupcakes. Yes they touch the wrapper, but they also sometimes touch the icing- not on purpose. So my lower stars are for hygiene and not for their great tasting cupcakes! I will note: sometimes I will ask them to wear gloves and they will, sometimes with a lil frustration but they will.
I wish management would require gloves handling when grabbing desserts at all times. It’s good customer service keeping everyone safe from extra germs!

Yes had a grooms cake.made (star wars) for my granddaughters wedding rehearsal.. They did a fabulous job!! I was so pleased with it and my granddaughter was too....definitely order from them again!!!!!!!

At our tasting, my husband and I did not have a full vision of how we'd want our cake to look but Ginger was able to bring out photos and make suggestions so that our cake turned out amazing. It was beautiful, delicious, and a great price! We will be using them again for any future celebrations in the Dayton area!

Disappointed! We wanted a garden scene on one side of the cake made out of various flowers and a motorcycle scene on the other! The chocolate buttercream was supposed to be the dirt in the garden. They didn't follow the drawing that we took to them :(
Cake is very good but we will go somewhere else the next time we need a specialty decorated cake.

Did my wedding cake tasting here. It was amazing. We also got our wedding cake and cupcakes from here. Cupcakes turned out great. Our wedding cake however, was not correct. It was supposed to be lemon with the key lime filling. This was in our paper work and emails. I didn’t know the filling was missing until we cut the cake. The cake itself was lemon. Still good but very disappointed the filling was not there

Ordered my wedding cake from The Cakery and it was phenomenal. I'm a sucker for their almond flavor with buttercream. The taste, the design, the service. Everything was communicated thoroughly. We are so grateful for the 1 year anniversary cake. The pick up was a breeze and everyone was so nice. We're so excited to dig in! Could not recommend them any more!
