The shop itself is clean, cute, and has a fun vibe. The staff were friendly and super patient. Highly recommend this spot whether you’re just passing through or live nearby. It’s the kind of place you’ll crave again the second you leave. Highly recommend!!

I wanted to try this place so bad so I did today with my family.. The girl that waited on us wasn't very friendly and the icecream honestly wasn't very good and the portions were small... I was very disappointed and I won't be back.
Best ice cream in town. They absolutely could use some more marketing, but they're so affordable ($3 a cone) and the staff are do so friendly. Seating outside is great too

This place has been here a while now and I never bothered to stop and check it out until I saw someone talking about how good they are on Facebook tonight. So glad I saw that random persons post cause they really are good! What got me there was their insane flavor list! I REALLY wanted Tutti Frutti but sadly wasn't a local option listed. I ended up getting cotton candy, oldest got cremè de mint, youngest got blue sky and everyone's happy! Love the ice cream nacho Idea think I'll try it next time. Their lobby wasn't open but if you drive around back there's a door bell you can ring and they come out to take your order.
For 2 waffle cones with 1 scoop of soft serve and 1 cup with a scoop of dipped cost apx $18
Place looked clean inside and wait wasn't long but got there around 8:30 pm too.

The last two visits I’ve made here they have been out of items I wanted. Tonight I stopped through and again they are out of products, I ask if I can substitute soft serve instead of scooped in a particular sundae and the person working was rude and short with me saying no, that can’t be done. I offered to pay extra and again I got a short, dry no. I asked why it wasn’t possible and the employee said, “we just don’t do that.” I’ve been coming to the Sweet Retreat for the past few years and I’ve always been an advocate for the place, typically it’s great service and quality. Tonight I left without purchasing anything and I doubt I’ll be back anytime soon.

Sitting area was filthy and zero shade. Parking lot is full of trash and broken glass. Service was very slow. But the ice cream was tasty and a good value. Seems like they have been out of the Kings Island flavor for quite a while
