This location has gone completely down hill in the past 5 years. Placed a to go order for 3 things, all of which had some sort of issue. The pretzels didn't come with the required cheese. Nachos had barely any cheese or meat and no sour cream. And they were out of the cornbread but were too lazy to notify me and ask if I want to replace the item or take it off the bill. instead they still charged me for it and just left a note on the receipt that said "out of cornbread". When I called to speak to someone about all this the host answering the phone hung up on me when I asked for a manager. I then called back and asked again and was put on hold for 10 minutes. I then had my husband call back a third time and he was instantly connected to a manager. The manager stated that there was nothing he could do and to take it up with doordash. He did not offer to replace the missing items or make any kind of ammends. When notified about the host who hung up on me the manager stated "it's hard to find good help". Sad to see this place being run so horribly when it used to be an awesome place to eat.

We were traveling from Buffalo New York to Mahomet IL and stopped at the Smokey Bones in Dayton for dinner. We have a Smokey Bones in Buffalo which is excellent and expected the same service in Dayton, we were not disappointed! Smokey Bones has an extensive menu with a focus on smoked meats. We suggest their baby back ribs their signature dish.

The food was delicious and our waitress was so helpful kind and we didn't have to wait for anythg.. Katelyn was very professional she smiled and made sure we had everything we needed ..the meau had a lot to offer and the restaurant had a great mood over all my experience all together was great .and I will be back and I'll recommend smoky bones to my family and friends as a great restaurant to visit..

Smokey Bones is always a good place to eat and they have a lot to choose from. They usually have my favorite Voodoo Ranger Hazy beer.????

I wanted spots bar with barbecue food. I thought the name would have been enough that I was right. Wrong. The baby back ribs were flaky and dry. The street corn was not on the cob, just a cup with the ingredients and the cole slaw was not creamy as advertised. What makes things worse is that this was a special Ribfest?? I will say thatI was served fast and the bartender was nice.

Ribs are wonderful!!! My baked potato was a different story....it was so old and overcooked..and cold enough the butter wouldn't melt. My husband's mashed potatoes \u0026 beef gravy was also a joke...1st...it was mushroom gravy and very very little...again..old and so overcooked they were a funky color... But....the ribs were great.

I've ordered The Wing Experience twice and got the wrong thing twice... thankfully the food is actually pretty good, but I've never had what I actually wanted to eat and was unable to be helped twice.

We used to love to eat here. But this visit was subpar. Firstly, they said it would be a 20 minute wait since they only had two servers. I can understand this happening and we gladly waited. Secondly, Both waitresses had long hair that was hanging very close to the food they were delivering. What happened to having your hair pulled back? Doesn’t the health department have rules anymore? Thirdly, my friend and I both ordered pulled pork. It looked like a good serving when we first got our plates, only to find over 1/2 was nothing but fat and skin. At over $20 a plate, you’d expect someone in the kitchen to remove the fatty skin before serving it. Lastly, when I went to pay with my credit card, the waitress had already clicked on 25% tip. The other choices were 20% or custom. I normally leave a little over 20% for excellent service and 18% for ok service. I felt that it was presumptive of her.
This place is great, no complaints at all and it's nice to have something other than wings etc for once. I got the scorpion buffalo and oh boy do I have things to say about that. I thought it would be comparable to the wall sauce from wings etc. Nah. Easily twice as hot, comparable to being pepper sprayed in the mouth but tastier than that I reckon. 20 mins after taking a nibble of one my lips are still absolutely on fire. Definitely make sure you have milk if you try these. 10/10
