Went there today with a party of 6 for brunch at 10:30am. The restaurant was less than half full. Our server knew less about the menu than we did. When we finally got our food, part of our orders were missing. By time we got the rest, the first part we got had gotten cold. The Belgian waffle was great, but the rest of our food (eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, pancakes) we below average. The quality was less than what you would get from Bob Evans or Cracker Barrel. When it came time to pay, the server stood over us with a hand held device watching as it asked us to enter the tip, asked us for a "thumbs up or down," and then asked us our favorite part of our experience. Since she was watching, none of us felt comfortable to be honest. Based on this experience I will not go back.

I will give four stars because it is finally open and they are working with a limited menu while they get up and running. The waitress was terrific and explained that the owner purchased the building as a foreclosure and is trying to make a go of it. The formal grand opening is in about three weeks. The burgers were HOT (not spicy hot) but Hot and the fries were terrific. We will definitely come back because we like local businesses and I appreciate their willingness to buy the building and give it a try.

Good house burger and fries! I liked it. I'm gonna go back for breakfast, their pancakes and waffles looked good. An all round nice local cafe

The owner was very nice. So was the staff. Building is new and still very clean. The food is just.... Okay.... Actually, kind of gross. Sad to say, but if this place doesn't get a decent menu full of unique options... It will not survive the competition on Miller Lane.

Real hometown feel cafe. We went on Easter Sunday for breakfast. We consider the breakfast the best for the area. The southwest ,the hog and the country was what was on our order. If you like biscuits and gravy this dish was among one of the best I have had. It is served with scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese with a side order of home fries(ok taste) or toast. My son had the southwest which includes chorizo, he said it was the best omelet he's had. But overall the hog omelet was the best on our order. The Manager/ partner Harrison .....was very attentive and friendly. The service was fast and also friendly. We will return for lunch or dinner, but most definitely breakfast again. This is a need to try kind of place for the whole family.

Excellent Speedy Service, but priced slightly higher for the type of food. Luckily the service makes up for the slightly higher price. I took some menu pics since there are none online yet, but they said since they are still new this menu would be changing soon and add a lot more. I even heard some Keto options through the grapevine

Today we decided to try the new place. Upon arrival the hostess was quick to walk us to a table. So fast she never even talked to us or greeted us. When we asked for a table vs a booth her reply was “no one ever ask for that”. We tried the beer cheese which was good, it comes with chips. When they came out another waitress sit the chips on the corner of table and never talked. The beer cheese was brought out within a couple mins. At this point we still had not ordered. We ordered burgers which were way over cooked and obviously a frozen patty. But at 7.99 a 9.99 without fries, kinda pricey. Fries are 3 dollars more. As we were there other guests around us were complaining about drink refills, temp too cold, waiting to order, and waiting for checks.

Food was great and atmosphere very casual. I came here first before bringing friends. Definitely not disappointed and will be returning with others.

Chips and salsa were complimentary and the salsa was clearly homemade. Everything came very quickly and the waitress was very helpful. However, I would encourage the restaurant to choose a direction. We were told they are working on a pizza oven and a bar, but they also serve all day breakfast and burgers and spaghetti and tacos. The burgers were good but the salsa was probably my favorite part of our visit.

New place in a 'soft' opening. Limited menu as they ramp up.

We went the first day they were open. Willing to try it again some day and i DO hope they succeed. The staff was friendly. The service was good. But one of my friends and I ordered two eggs over easy - I had a bagel and bacon with mine and my friend had 'hash browns' - my eggs were under cooked and the bagel was hard as a rock. My friend's eggs were burnt on the bottom and the yolk was hard - her hash browns were like Arby's, only packed tighter.

We were there just before closing time on the second or third day of their soft opening. The manager and staff were extremely friendly and warm. Our food came out quickly and was really good. They are still working to refine and expand the menu but I would definitely come back and hope they do well.
