Could be a legendary sandwich shop in my opinion but they need to get better bread. I found the bread was soft like white bread with no flavor or texture. A nice crunchy baguette would turn their sandwiches to show stoppers.

We came to this establishment with a friend as we were visiting from out of state and it exceeded our expectations! Being from NJ, we have awesome delis so I was unsure what to expect but everything we tried was delicious! Service and atmosphere were great as well. We’ll be returning next time we are visiting!

I'm so glad I decided to brave Dayton driving (being from small town Iowa) to try Tony & Pete's!! It was incredible. Definitely the best vegan sub I've ever had, plus a super cool vibe and friendly staff. All around great experience I'd definitely recommend. I'll be back again for sure. My only regret was not bringing my purse in when I picked up because I saw they had a ton of interesting food items to buy, like vegan hot fudge!

Have heard people talk about this place and wondered how good a cold cut sandwich could really be. Happy I went to find out! Had a spicy salami that I'm still thinking about a day later, and an IPA. Top tier ingredients, fresh bread, delicious clean crisp arugula. Perfect lunch. Service was friendly and fast. One star knocked off atmosphere for the flies buzzing around. Looking forward to returning to try another sandwich.
