We had a reservation and still had to wait about 20 mins after our reservation time. Food was really good. The waitress was rude. Although we got our food about 45 mins from the time we sat. There were people waiting even longer to get theirs. When food was delivered, the waitress was confused on who got what and there was two of us. This confusion continued to happen at other tables. Not very impressed.

We waited over 90 minutes for two burgers and finally gave up and had to leave to catch a show. It was a Friday and very busy but 90 minutes is way too long for two burgers and fries. The waitress was very nice and comped our drinks as an apology, which we appreciated. We won’t be going back though.

We had called 3+ weeks in advance to book the private room for an event we were having. I was informed that it was still open & we would be able to have the room. When we arrived today they had given the room to a different party (and from what we had gathered they were either related or friends with someone who was related to an employee). We were okay with sitting in the dining room & didn’t even raise any kind issue. (We should of left before starting)The food wasn’t very good. There was at least one person in the party who brought up the fact her food was inedible to the waitress and she said “oh I’m sorry we do know this is an issue with this dish and can’t figure out why” didn’t offer to get her something different or take it off the bill (she eat less than 3 bits). As well there was a girl (who said she worked there) who seemed to be intoxicated/under the influence of something. She had came up to our table multiple times all of which left our group feel very uncomfortable. She was extremely loud, she was jumping on people(workers), as well her pants weren’t even buttoned. She had even made her way into the kitchen.Overall the experience was awful & unnerving. With having to pay for parking & everything that had happened I know there are multiple in our group that will never be dinning here again.

Good food but the parking prices are insane. Then there are police everywhere watching closely to ticket those who are specifically entering this business. Be careful. This is so typical of Dayton. Business starts booming downtown then community leaders ruin it all with their greedy policies. Dayton could do so much better.

A must see! Outside is one thing but the decor inside is intriguing. I love the vibe and the staff is great.

My husband and I loved this fun gathering and drinking/dining spot in Dayton! We were there on a Monday, and happily took advantage of their tasty $5 Monday Margaritas! Music Bingo was a blast, too. The food was delicious, the atmosphere fun and family friendly, and they have patio dining when the weather is nice. Julie, our server, was super busy but very attentive and friendly. A five-star experience for this out-of-towner!

Great atmosphere and location. However you have to pay to park. Although it is a minimal cost, there are many other restaurants in the downtown Dayton area that are just as good or better and have free parking. There is a small board at the hostess station with a 50% off discount code for first hour of parking. Food was ok. We went on a Saturday night and my Husband could not order the Phillysteak because they were out of the beef! Seems like an odd thing to be out of on a regular weekend night. Service was slow but not bad.Parking: Lots of parking but it stinks that even if you are dining at the restaurant you have to pay.Kid-friendliness: Good variety of food and drinks for kids of all ages. Atmosphere and attire is kid friendly.

Food was solid, atmosphere was chill and what you’d expect for a Tuesday afternoon. Service, however was pretty bad. Don’t want to call anyone out but we were constantly told “one sec”, while there was at most two other groups in the restaurant. If you have time, maybe worth it, but if you want a quick bite, might throw off your plans.

The look and vibe of this bar is its best attribute. The interior transformation from factory to bar is a nod to the history of the Wheel House. There’s a hidden room if you’d like to book a private party, or if you just show up with a lot of friends, there’s plenty of room to accommodate. There’s a great selection of food on the menu. Most importantly, the wings are fantastic, and the sweet potato tots are fire ?. It’s mostly the same items you’d see on any bar menu, but everything that I’ve had there has had its own twist comparatively. The service is decent. It always seems like they are just short 1 bartender. By that, I mean sometimes it takes a while to get a drink, especially if it gets busy. But overall the bartenders are good and their quirky personalities add to the good experience. The only downside I’ve experienced is if the bar is slow, they will close early. I’ve showed up on a Monday night and they’ve shut down early. It’s inconvenient when you’ve checked the hours expecting them to be open and they’re not. So to be safe, I would call ahead if you’re looking to hang out late during the week.Oh! And last thing! Do yourself a huge favor and just PAY FOR PARKING IMMEDIATELY. It’s only $3, but let’s just say that the private company that runs the parking lot is VERY good at writing $60 tickets ?. I don’t know where they sit, but they hide so well haha

The food is always great and my waiter Anthony, who is also the bartender, was absolutely on top of everything. The reason for my bad review is the bar manager with pink and blue hair. When I walked in to eat, my husband and I were the only table and everything was pretty calm, but shortly after ordering the restaurant got super busy. The dining area still wasn’t open yet and our waiter was left with roughly 15 customers and no help. While this was going on, shift change was about to happen and the bar manager was standing at the bar asking our waiter to serve her samples of a new tequila. She didn’t offer to help the waiter, or take over the bar, or even get her own samples. Instead she put more work on Anthony who was already managing the bar, running food, and waiting all tables both in and outside. I love going to this restaurant I just feel really bad for the poor employees who are stuck under bad management. Unfortunately the bad management will likely lead to losing really good employees if it’s not handled soon.

Work associate and I had club sandwiches. Which was delicious. Not too crowded for lunch. Sat at a high top in the bar area. Food and service were great.
