The food and smoothies are great from this company. However at this location I have ordered multiple smoothies “sub Splenda” to avoid consuming too much sugar. However, I have witnessed the employees here ignoring the “sub Splenda” request and still adding the turbando pumps to the smoothies. Luckily I don’t have health issues causing me to order this way, it is just a personal preference. However, this is a dangerous practice as I know there are others ordering the same way for health reasons that may be unaware of this may be happening to their orders as well. The staff needs to understand to pay closer attention to these requests.

I just left from this location. My açaí bowl is frozen. I also grabbed two sausage egg cheese quesadillas and they barely had food in them.

Wonderful experience and the environment felt very calm staff was very professional and quick with the food. I will definitely return to this location. I ordered the chicken Chipotle flat bread. Ive been here twice and ordered the same food twice and each time its been wonderful this location is better than the one over near my area since they dont skimp on the portions or mess up my smoothie. I give this lovely location a perfect 5 stars.

This location has deteriorated drastically since the change in ownership, and it’s nothing short of appalling. I urge anyone considering stopping here to think twice—your time, money, and health are worth more. The smoothies are consistently watered down, lacking flavor, and often taste as if they’ve been made with spoiled or overripe fruit.
Even more concerning are the repeated violations of basic hygiene practices. On several occasions, I’ve had to request that the person preparing my food wear gloves—a request that should never be necessary in any food establishment. I’ve personally witnessed an employee return from outside, walk straight to the prep area, and begin handling food without washing their hands or putting gloves on. That is completely unacceptable and in violation of food safety standards.
To make matters worse, I’ve seen staff members eating fruit behind the counter while preparing orders. This is not just unsanitary—it’s downright negligent. During my most recent visit (6/27), I ordered a banana peanut butter flatbread and received it stuffed with cheese and lettuce. That isn’t a simple mistake—that’s a complete disregard for quality control. And the spoiled apple I received alongside it had to be thrown away immediately.
I will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to avoid this location entirely. If you value cleanliness, food safety, and competent service, you’ll find far better standards at the Kettering location across from Target. That store understands how to handle food properly—something this location clearly does not.

Smells really bad inside. Must have changed ownership. As long as I can remember, I’ve been able to do a small kids smoothie in any of the smoothie types. I was told that I wasn’t allowed to do so and there was nothing they could do about it.

Second time I have been burned by terrible service after putting in an order hours before pickup using the Mobile App. 20 minutes after pickup time smoothie were given to me. Then we waited another 5 minutes while our food sat on the counter. If we had not inquired, it would have been longer. I have watched them fill Uber Eats and Grub Hub orders instead of Mobile orders. All of the Tropical Smoothies in the area suffer from the same inability to manage orders, and they are all run by the same family.
