Wheat Penny is a wonderful place to go if you're looking to accommodate a wide variety of allergies or dietary restrictions. When I had a big group of family visit that had various soy, gluten, and dairy allergies, I called or emailed at least a dozen restaurants and Wheat Penny was the ONLY place in Dayton that could accommodate everyone's allergies. if you are loving dark meat like thighs you must try the crispy brick chicken thighs. they are cooked under a brick until crispy and have to say most tender meat with sides. Also must try the homemade desserts.
Loved this place ! I had a lunch antipasto and it was outstanding. The best one I have ever had! Our server was excellent and the dining experience could not have been better ! Yay ! I will be back.
