Fresh sushi and sashimi, wonderful specialty rolls and many vegan options. The drink selection is amazing including many local beers and wine selections, but also a large selection of Japanese whiskies and sakis. Take some time to seek this place out it's not a dining option Dayton wants to lose. Service was outstanding.

So unpretentious! Such good sushi in a most unlikely, quirky, place. My friend and I came in on a Saturday afternoon before the bar crowd started filtering in and had the BEST staff take care of us. Ssshhh... Keep Zen Lounge on the QT all to yourself. But go often. All the usual favorites, made on site. This is not gas station sushi.Dine in: Yes

The sushi is super fresh, filling, and impressively flavored, esp for being in the Midwest. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the cocktails are just ridiculous. This would be a fantastic date spot and I’ll absolutely be returning.

Absolutely great new Sushi bar in Downtown Dayton! Cocktails are fruity and different than most places around downtown. The space is clean and updated! Great for a sushi date or casual dining! The sushi is the star with stunning rolls and fresh sushi ingredients.

Do you like sushi? Do you not like sushi but really like someone that does and is trying to impress them with your outstanding ability to find amazing sushi places? Well then this is the place for you.Understand first that this is a bar. It just happens to be a bar that instead of greasy burgers and fries, serves 5 star sushi. If you can wrap your head around this then you will be set. The drink selection was top notch and the service was great. It was admittedly a slower night (I don't understand why people don't want to party on a Thursday night but whatever) but the guys working were on it. They had recommendations that were spot on and engaged just enough to let us feel we were more than just money but also let my wife and I enjoy our meal together.I don't typically like sushi but even I was left floored by the food. I imagine this is what it would be like if I jumped in the ocean myself, fought a giant tuna fish and then wrapped it on a bed of rice with spicy mayo and cream cheese. But it's even better because I don't get all wet and still have to take a shower after. I just get to enjoy the amazing food.
