“I had the pleasure of being brought here for lunch today and - wow!! The waitstaff is very friendly and accommodating. I had the pastor torta and it was amazing! El pastor is one of my favorite Mexican dishes and I haven't had it in a restaurant where it was this good since I lived out west 25 years ago! We also grabbed a bottle of Coronado vanilla rompope from the grocery store on a whim and weren't sure what to expect. I had the leftover half of my torta and guacamole from lunch along with a small glass of the rompope for dinner a little while ago, and it was incredibly good. I'll definitely be back for more!”

“Wow, wow, wow! The environment, THE FOOD, the drinks. Love this place. I grabbed the Yahtzee Burger with the sweet potato fries. Ate all of it in record time, and I was even that hungry. This was a bit of a travel for us to try, but definitely will be back. I tried shooting Yahtzee for a free Yahtzee Burger, but missed by one dice rolling a two on third try. Definitely worth the trip. Apparently, there's more here to do than what we noticed, so research it first.”

“Was in Defiance last weekend with friends. We were looking for a place to have lunch and I had seen on the Valentine Theater site that Ensign’s was where Maag’s used to be and they had a lot of the same menu. Went there years ago, before 1980, and was pleasantly surprised with the lunch. Had the roast beef, knockers, chips & draft beer. Everything was great and the prices are very reasonable. We all had a good time and my friends were happy that I suggested going here. Keep up the good work!”

“The staff is always attentive and joyful. Food or ice cream is always delicious and bountiful. With all the choices available, it's hard not to grab something for yourself when making a pit stop! The environment is always welcoming and clean. Sometimes the machines go down, but I can understand that with how busy they can get on a regular basis! And they are always on a quick turn around to get things fixed so it's never a long let down when a machine is down.
With 2 locations in Defiance, and a mobile truck for venues or events, Eric's Ice Cream is a town favorite.”

“It's a tiny place, but I've been getting it ever since I can remember. The people are always very polite. I've seen people say it's dirty, but it isn't. It's just a tiny "you get what you get," place. I've been craving it especially hard the last few weeks. Was thrilled to find it was still open when I moved back this way.”

Parking: 8 Gas pumps to park and fuel up and than maybe 15 total spaces for just convenient parking.”

“Wife and I stopped in late today,Monday,ordered western omelets. As soon as our food was plated up it was on its way to us. With other restaurants in the area when we get hash browns you can see the plate through the potatoes. In the years we've been coming here we have always had excellent service and excellent food. “I always enjoy visiting and ordering from Padrones. They've been a staple to the town for a number of years now. You can't beat free delivery or their numerous bread appetizers. Pesto, garlic, cheesy, plain, stuffed.. Nobody compares.”

“Usually go every Wednesday, the workers are a hit or miss. They're not quite as social, more so, "order here" "pick up here" without any emotion towards the customer. The ice cream is usually good with no problems and depending on the line is the quickness of your treat.”

“Came here when we were moving into our apartment. The food was so good and I was so exited because we heard we got the apartment and the lady taking our order was so sweet. The chicken tenders I got were so fresh and so was all the food. Only downside I would say is the atmosphere. There was a lady that was there before we were and unfortunately was very obviously on some sort of substance.”
