Today I ordered the whiskey burger and after waiting 45 min it finally came. I noticed that My burger did not contain the whiskeys sauce and explained that to my waitress and asked I I could get the sauce. When I got my bill I noticed that they tried to charge me for the sauce that they forgot to put on my burger. I understand that you were short staffed and that management was cooking. Kind of tired of this excuse when prices continue to increase and portions are reduced. The other person in my party ordered the prime rib dipper which came with burnt prime rib. You need to do better and not try to intentionally over charge your customers. Needless to say that I most likely will stay away from this restaurant in the future.

Always a good option, can be a little noisy in there if you go during the lunch rush. It's a nice little place though overall with pretty good staff and good service. Nobody is particularly over the top with service and the whole place is pretty chill. The food is nice, lots of variety and they have a bar with many drinks selections.
Kids are definitely welcomed in as well even if there is a bar, and it's a good family place and while they don't have any games, it's a neat little place to go with a group. You can dine alone but it's better with friends or family. It makes for a very peaceful retreat in the end.
Parking: There's a normal parking section for dining in as well as a handful of spots for when you're just getting food to go.

My husband and I were so hungry for Applebees and really looking forward to their steak. When we got there, there were at least 10 tables open, plus seats at the bar. Then we were told that there would be a 20 minute wait. We asked why the wait with so many tables available. We were told it was because the kitchen was short staffed. What does that have to do with being seated? Am I missing something? That has to be one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard!

Food was really good I got the ribs very delicious the French fries was very good aswell our server Olivia was very nice and quick
It's an Applebee's. The food was consistent with what one would expect. I had chicken tortilla soup and a side salad, both of which were good. My server was polite and attentive.
The facilities could use a little updating. Some tile work, maybe some new fixtures. But no points off because it was clean.

My husband and I and our children has just left the Applebee's on North Clinton St. in Defiance Ohio in total disgust. We walked through the second set of doors to the entry of the main eating area and the most pungent smell slapped us right back out into the parking lot. It wasn't the type of stink like a fart or body odor. It was most likely a sewage problem. And the weird thing about it was, there was absolutely not one scent of food in the air. Like none. Not sure what the issue was, but it was not pleasant at all.
