I was doing road construction in the area and I wanted a good burger after work. I happened to come across this place and stopped by. Thinking I was just getting a burger. Well, let me tell you. Without a doubt this place took me back in time and actually made me a bit emotional. This place reminded me of the most amazing cook in my life, my Grandmother!! We lost grandma about 15years ago. I haven't tasted food like this in years! The coleslaw and the burger was Great!!!😋 But, the Apple Crumble Pie was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and tasted just like Grandma's 👵 I will never come back to Defiance, ohio again without stopping by Buds!! Thank you Buds, for the great food,great service and most of all for taking me back to the good ole days!!!!! God bless you Buds

What a diamond in the rough spot! This is absolutely a hidden Gem and must try place. From your welcome in at the door, service, and great meal with a slice of the most Delicious pie you can't go wrong eating here. Excellent diner food, served hot and fast at reasonable prices. We were driving through town and stopped here for lunch. Spouse’s hamburger basket (with fries) was excellent and my BLT was great (pictured). Hand made chocolate shake was delicious.
