Bland. Just wasn't what I was hoping for. Georgia waffle houses are way better and have better prices. My family raved about this place and even stated it wasn't as good as usual. I guess we came in on a off day.

I had the meatloaf without the brown gravy, baked potato and a side order of onion rings. Meatloaf was so very yummy seasoned just right. Potato could use sea salt on the skin. Onion rings were real onion and fried nice and golden. Not too soft or hard batter. Service was great as usual. Good value for the price.

This old school Greek Diner in Defiance is a worthwhile stop for a very good meal. It is located in an east side commercial area in a standalone building on the corner of a strip plaza. It's not difficult to find. The exterior looks nice enough with a classic blue awning. The spacious layout provided plenty of seating. Though not elaborate, the interior was comfortable and pleasant.
We were seated right away and our server attended to us quickly. She did a very good job during our entire visit as she was efficient and attentive but not intrusive. We had our 3-year-old granddaughter with us and they were able to accommodate her with no problem, which was greatly appreciated.
The menu offered plenty of options. They seemed at the core to be a Greek Diner with several characteristic offerings you'd expect from such a place. But they also featured plenty of American Midwest-style comfort food as well. My wife tried the Beef and Noodles special that took us back to the type of thing we ate as kids. She ordered that in part because it was something our granddaughter would eat, but she also enjoyed it as well given her proclivities toward such dishes. I opted for the Greek portion of their menu with a Famous Gyro Salad. It was also a very solid choice with good Gyro meat and fresh vegetables accompanied by equally fresh pita. It was all very good. I'll also note that the coffee was decent, which I can't always say for these types of diners.
The prices were very reasonable. Overall with food, drinks, tax and tip, we were able to stay at about $14 - $15 per adult. This is not bad at all for dinner by today's standards and I was quite happy with the value. We would not hesitate to try this place again should the opportunity arise.

Just what you would expect from a classic diner type restaurant. I got the hot beef (they call it Manhattan) it was overly salty gravy, tender beef, mashed potatoes and basic white bread. Total comfort food! The side salad was crisp and fresh. We also got the tres leche cake (3 milk) and it was melt in your mouth delscious.
Come here quite often with my family when they are in town to visit. Always great service and great food. I highly recommend the Gyro, Double Cheese Burger, and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. If you are like me and want to experience a meal how it was before life got too complicated, this is the place for you!!
We came there tonight for the first time. The soup was ice cold and even after sending it back it still was only warm. Then the food came out that was also cold the gravy on the country fried steak had noodles in it and tasted chalky. The burger on the patty melt was so dry I think it was cooked last week. Needless to say we won’t be back.
Stopped in today for eggs Benedict, it came out looking like it had lumpy tapioca on it. So horrible I couldn't eat it and the fruit was way underripe. The waitress did take it off our bill but I left hungry. It's going to be a long time before we go there again
