Was in Defiance last weekend with friends. We were looking for a place to have lunch and I had seen on the Valentine Theater site that Ensign’s was where Maag’s used to be and they had a lot of the same menu. Went there years ago, before 1980, and was pleasantly surprised with the lunch. Had the roast beef, knockers, chips & draft beer. Everything was great and the prices are very reasonable. We all had a good time and my friends were happy that I suggested going here....
My first visit to Defiance since COVID and I was delighted to find out Ensign's still open and still holding true to the original Maag's menu. If it ain't broke, don't fix it ?
