This is my husband's favorite lunch spot in Defiance. The high rating is from his perspective. He loves that the food is fast, cheap, and it's rarely crowded. He loves their knocker & hot beef sandwiches. I love him and love to see him happy, so we occasionally meet there for lunch during our work day. Was in Defiance last weekend with friends. We were looking for a place to have lunch and I had seen on the Valentine Theater site that Ensign’s was where Maag’s used to be and they had a lot of the same menu. Went there years ago, before 1980, and was pleasantly surprised with the lunch. Had the roast beef, knockers, chips & draft beer. Everything was great and the prices are very reasonable. We all had a good time and my friends were happy that I suggested going here....
