The food was average, at best, and the service, sadly, was less than average. We arrived about 20 minutes before closing, and the waitress was visibly and verbally upset that we were there. Keep in mind, this is a place to mainly get hotdogs and fried sides and sit in your car to eat them. You never go inside the building. The waitress rushed over to us and asked what she could get us, "TO GO" and when we said we hadn't been there before and didn't know...
I'll start with the best part. The root beer is so good!! We usually have to grab a gallon to bring home. It just hits differently than anywhere else in town. I was slightly disappointed this season it appeared the chili sauce was changed. It was a different color. The flavor was slightly off. Not bad but not great. I don't like that when using a debit card there is no where on the receipt to leave a tip. It is a great place for a little nostalgia. I have been going...
