Stopped for lunch at Kissner's Restaurant in Defiance, OH on our way back from a vacation in the Toledo area. I had a hamburger and fries, my husband had a mushroom swiss burger and fries. Service was friendly and efficient, atmosphere was warm and friendly. Nice little place to have lunch. We were surprised when we got there around 1pm that the place was packed!
Cool place with a historic bar, which was very interesting. Good specials. Nice selection of draft beer. Food portion was plentiful and good. Service was great. The only annoyance was the lack of posted prices. I was interested in two of the specials, which were not posted (not that unusual). But when I asked our waitress the prices of the specials, she said, 'they vary from $12 to $22'.
The food was great!!! And the restaurant was clean, the bathroom was less impressive but it was ok. The food came out kind of slow but was worth the wait. The music was a great addition and the place looks very old fashioned. Would definitely recommend trying it! 5☆!!!!!
