I forgot to take a photo sooner before I devoured the Bacon & Cheddar Pub Burger and waffle fries. Definitely worth the price. ($10) Traveled to Defiance for work and glad I found this gem on the River. It was a great atmosphere, food, and service. Will be back if in town again! Convenient street parking out front and across the street as an added bonus.
Nice old tavern in a historic building. Could use a few more choices on the menu. Burger was ok, but nothing to rave about. Bartender was attentive. After a while the owner and friends (I think - sorry if I got that wrong) got VERY loud and raucous, so I left. I don't mind noise at a bar, but it was hard to even think.
Great place for a cold draft and conversation with friends. Food was really good… try the jalapeño poppers, zucchini fries and pub burger! Friendly attentive staff; old school relaxing bar. Enjoyable evening!
