Good place to eat. Food is always good. Salad bar is excellent. Our waitress was really good. There was no lighting at our table so it was dark. Waitress got a small light but it kept going on and off. That is annoying. Other than that the meal was great.
My party of three was passing through town on a business trip and googled restaurants near Defiance, OH, which resulted in Sweetwater Chophouse as an option. I made the reservation in the car, as we were 15 minutes out from the location. We were greeted and seated promptly. Started our dinner with the truffle fries appetizer, and they are so good! Also, the sweet potatoe gnocchi is very delicious. I love the Caesar salads at Sweetwater because the romaine is nicely chopped and tossed with the dressing that is mild and creamy. Two in our party had the special chicken carbonara linguine which was good too. We've never been disappointed with our meal at Sweetwater. Our waitress, Eli, was very helpful and friendly.
