Beware of automated Tips. We ordered from the takeout window outside and they automatically paid themselves an $8 tip without our knowledge. We questioned it and everyone got all flustered but they never offered to remove the charge. We had no problem canceling our order and getting refunded. I would have no problem tipping if eating inside and actually being waited on by a waitress. We found another place around the lake and they didn't help themselves to our wallet. Transparency at the window would have been appreciated. Thanks!🙂 *Update* Replying to the owners response below. FYI customers definitely don't appreciate being called a liar while you try to discredit our experiences and it sure looks like a trend judging by your responses to other customers. I actually still have the receipt. It was a $45.03 takeout order with a tip of $8.11. Total was $53.11 and the cashier on the receipt was Jadzia. Furthermore the employee's had to contact you for approval regarding canceling the order because no one wanted to remove the tip and acted offended along with the cook. We simply wanted a meal on our birthday while watching the sunset over the lake and figured we would give the place a try. I don't always write my reviews instantly and often like to reflect on my experience before doing so. It also seems the tip craze has taken over and restaurants now want paid for nothing or bad service so that also compelled me to write the review at a later date along with your attitude towards others. I would be more than happy to share my receipt and this review on your Facebook page since we are all apparently liars.😵‍💫✌️

I like to stop here on my drive back from Carrollton for a sweet treat. Their milkshakes are good, and I appreciate how much add ins they include in their flurries. My only complaint is that service takes longer than any other ice cream stand I've been to. There were no lines any of the times that I've ordered, and yet it still took 10 to 15 minutes for a milkshake and a flurry! And as it is reaching the end of the season, they are limited on their flavors and on things like carriers, lids, etc.

Had to change my review, all summer long the wait has been long, the food orders have been messed up over and over. I pay for a medium ice cream sundae and get 2 bites in the bottom of the bowl 😳
Whether its in the neighborhood or not, id rather drive farther to get an actual $5 worth if thats what I paid

I was there today (8-23) with my family. We were next in line outside and waited 30 minutes to place our ice cream order. We recieved our order, 30 MORE minutes later, only to have a banana split flurry without the taste of banana and a reese's flurry tasting like banana! The "no sugar-added butter pecan ice cream we returned home with was actually ice cream with chocolate and pb. We ordered that ONLY because the first 3 things we wanted that were ON the menu (and easily removable, I might add - to not get a customer's hopes up) you were out of. Multiple people gave up and left the line as they had already been waiting as long as we did (1 hour) and had to continue to wait just to place their orders. It's a good thing my loved one was not diabetic. Do better.

My husband and I had fish dinners for lunch today. The food was good and our server was very pleasant and courteous.

They now have my Dad’s fish recipe. We gave it to them. Jack Reese was the second owner. My Dad did a lot for community. My Dad owned it since I was 4 years old, then sold it after I got married. Married in November of 1991, Dad sold it March of 1992. Was sold to The Kishman’s, then to one of my Dad's employee’s bought it. Troy Townsend wife ran it.Now, The Clemson’s own it now.

Says "open" on face book. Drove 20 min. to find it was closed. No place was open so we had a nice ride to canton. Please update.

I was just there n got a Reuben and the meat was turned. It literally looked, smelled and tasted like bad meat. I am disappointed every time I go there. Won’t be back n won’t be suggesting this place to anyone.
