Really cool to see an old school A&W restaurant. All the new ones have no soul. It looks well steeped in the old look. Looked like at one time it might have been a car hop. It is dine in, walk up window and drive thru. The girl behind the counter was super nice and helpful. Had never been here before. I got two coneys with onion and mustard. The dogs were cooked perfect, the bun was steamed and the coney sauce was great! I also had fries and onion rings. The fries were crispy...
Was visiting family in the area. Used to LOVE this place growing up, but boy I must say it was looking a bit rough. Not sure if they are short staffed like many places, but seemed to be lacking in counter service and help cleaning things up. Everything looks like it needs a good cleaning. Floor was sticky. We wiped our own booth each time to have a place to sit. The wait time for food was quite a bit too each time we went. Food was okay. One day I’m guessing someone...
Maybe I am not an A&W person but I highly recommend you take your business to a small local business instead of this place. Food was mediocre if that, atmosphere was nice and besides the amazing man at the register service was mediocre as well. Not worth the stop.
