Seriously, we’re onto a 3rd and 4th generation family that is still coming here.
I still remember coming here as a child and asking for the cup lids so we could put them on our bikes to make them sound like motor cycles.
The quality is great, lots of shade to sit down and relax plus has music with daily lunch specials if your not in the mood for ice cream.
My kids come here now and they smile and it makes me smile. What’s not to love about good ole “squeezies” as my parents used to call it and when they did, it made me smile bc they were smiling. A lot of happy memories here.
Kid-friendliness: This place is allll about the kids. It’s kids first atmosphere here. Family friendly. Great place. Even has a dog bowl outside for animals who are being walked.
Wheelchair accessibility: If you were to use a wheel chair there is parking towards the back to have plenty of room to use load and load up.

Ordered a banana split… got a spoon… got home should have gotten a straw! Did not enjoy one bit. Didn’t even drive three miles home. Very disappointed. ? seriously it was all melted.

Dover Softies brings all the Nostalgia. We stopped by for a quick treat as this quaint space came highly recommended by locals. It’s more than just ice cream! There is community love here, and it shows! Fresh and delicious food and delectable sweet treats. We definitely left satisfied!
Great ice cream options. Staff was friendly. I had to wait about 10 minutes to order on a hot June Friday evening. This place is very popular. I got the large cookie dough Tornado. It had a crazy amount of cookie dough pieces. Very good! Prices are going up. I included a photo of the menu from June 2024.

My daughter, youngest son, and I originally stopped earlier today just to get some ice cream while my husband and middle son are out of town at a wrestling camp. But then we saw some new items on the menu, and grabbed a walking taco for her and a chicken salad croissant for me for dinner tonight! They were awesome! Must-haves!
