First time and had a great experience. Quite an interesting menu, from Mediterranean to Italian and American. We truly enjoyed our meal. Great service an meal was presented very nicely.

Great restaurant from top to bottom! I try to take my family there once a week! Medium sized menu but plenty of variety - QUALITY FOOD! El Hefe Pasta is my favorite!!

Don't let the name fool you. It is an Italian restaurant and tavern. However, with the name and looking at some of the artwork on the walls inside, I believe they may eventually switch to a Mexican style menu. I am not sure of this though. There are TVs around the dining room with various sports programs on but they are not loud so you can have a nice quiet meal if you'd like. The food was fabulous. The service was excellent.

Have been here for dinner, and it was great. Decided to try lunch here. What a surprise! The sandwiches are delicious. I highly recommend the philly cheesesteak, the panko chicken sandwich, and the chicken burger with sundried tomatoes. Amazing!!

Thank you, El Hefe, for being the one bright spot in an otherwise glum trip! My husband and I took a trip to Berlin for his birthday which fell on Sunday February 9th. Sundays in Berlin you can get subway and burger king but I wanted something a bit better for a birthday meal. El Hefe couldn't have been any better than what it was! I have a food allergy to onion and not only did the house manager come talk to me about the menu but the owner himself came over. It ended with me dreaming of the lobster ravioli until the next time we make the trip back!

This is a wonderful hidden gem! The food is fresh, and everything is made in house. The service was attentive and friendly. We will certainly be back! The whole table was enticed by the signature pasta dish, and we ordered the arancini and the new york style cheesecake as well. One of the best local meals we've had in the area.

Parking: Parking is available in a lot across the street from the restaurant.

Park across the street. You cannot beat the quality and service at this place. Food is Italian with Mexican American influence and there is something to please any taste in that range on the menu. Everything is made in-house and the quality and creativity are unrivaled in the area. This is your date night, Dover.

I'm always excited to come to this place, as the food is amazing every time. The service is great and the atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing. The phila cheese steak sandwich is the best I've ever had. That bread 🤤

Delicious. The portobello bruschetta is always good. Also, the chicken Alfredo is unique with the mushrooms, but it’s good. The parking is horrible though. There’s only a small amount in the back; Krocker’s has the majority and you can’t park in the Eagles lot. They have a good amount of gluten free pasta options too if that’s a concern.

From the bartenders to the manager, the employees always treat me with a warm welcome. They have a great drink selection, and make some really good cocktails. I highly recommend this little treasure in Dover.
