This is seriously the only place in the 25 years of my life that has sent me to the emergency room. If you value your health DO NOT EAT AT EL VAQUERO. My fiancé and I just spent 7 hours in the hospital getting fluids and medicine because of the severe food poisoning we had received. Unfortunately on her 25th birthday as well. I truly would like to warn anyone to avoid this place at all cost. We believe it was the rice or queso (the only things we both consumed other than chips) SEVERE FOOD POISONING ALERT DO NOT GO HERE.

The Paloma was so weak I barely tasted the tequila, the steak was like a round steak. The queso fundido with shrimp and poblano peppers was delicious, but it didn't have any queso Oaxaca, just the queso dip. Waitress was super nice and it was fast. My kid loved her fries and corn dogs.

The food used to be good here and the servers had a good grasp of the English language but that is NO longer the case! The food is average, not a SINGLE server spoke English. We probably won't come back for awhile. I would also think that they don't have to hire any caucasians??? Food was delayed and cold. My husband ordered a burrito and it was definitely an enchilada. Disappointing because we liked the place, but it has gone down hill.

Eat here with caution!!!! I experienced the worst food poisoning ever after eating a Burrito California. Food was honestly delicious but I’m utterly disgusted with how badly contaminated it was considering how violently ill it made me. Yuck. Never again.

This is always our go to stop when we want Mexican food. The food is always delicious and comes quick. They just revamped their menu it looks like and some new items added. The picture shows one of the new items and it just happens to be my new favorite. My only negatives would be atmosphere and the salsa. The atmosphere is kinda quiet and blah. Not a bad thing if you're with a group and want to focus. The salsa they definitely make in house and it's hot or miss. Not very consistent.

Had a pickup lunch order with one item correct out of five on the order. Both quesadilla orders were missing the black beans, the enchiladas Suizas were missing the refried beans, and the chimichangas were completely missed in the order. I had to go back (10 minutes each way) and the manager said that they couldn't provide any compensation for the trouble this caused. They remade the missing items and I ended up having a cold lunch by the time I got home. They blamed a new computer system and told me that I could accept the remade order or leave the restaurant because "they were busy". When they remade the order with the missing items, they missed the refried beans again which I caught by checking it in the restaurant. Cold food and a lousy customer service experience - don't recommend them.
