1/11/26 @ pm. Visited this spot to celebrate my kids report cards and we enjoy trying new pizza places. It caught our attention through Facebook. We really did not know what to expect except they were suppose to have really good garlic knots and pizza. Upon arriving the girl up front was very friendly and helped answer a few menu questions for us. We ended up ordering wings, garlic knots and 3 pizzas. This place is very small with 1 table to sit inside. We were able to get seated at the table after it cleared out and enjoyed the dog decor everywhere. Then they got absolutely slammed. The girl up front at the counter (wish I caught her name) was an absolute rockstar. She did such a good job welcoming everyone and making sure they were taken care of and letting customers know how much longer of a wait they could expect. While all that was going on, she even offered to clean our table while we waited. Super nice of her but we declined, she had so much going on. She even took the time to walk out and order for a guy holding a baby carrier to help him. Our food came out and looked fantastic. The pizza dough was phenomenal and the toppings were generous. The different specialty pizzas had some incredibly unique combinations that we especially enjoyed. Garlic knots were very good. The wings were pretty mid and I would skip them next time. We would highly recommend this spot to everyone and this would be a fun place to enjoy in nicer weather as they have additional tables outside. If they ever consider moving to a location that has better seating indoors that would be really nice. We drove from Delaware to check them out and we are really happy we did. Don’t change a thing with the pizzas, they were so good! The customer service is flawless…seriously that girl was holding it down! Kudos to her for being a smooth operator and being professional when taking care of so many customers. The owner should know what a talented team they had working that night.

Very disappointed. Such a waste of potential. First, the wings were not good (fast food pizza chains have way better wings, heck I suggest you cut costs and get Costco frozen wings. It would be worlds better.) Second and most importantly the pizza. Too much pepperoni. I get that people really like it, but bc there is so much pepperoni the dough becomes wet (wasted potential). I say this because the dough is so incredibly good. HOWEVER, 92% of it is wet and mushy due to the grease (inedible). If you would use 70% less pepperoni you would not only cut costs, but might POTENTIALLY have an incredible pizza where I can enjoy the tasty dough (trust me, people definitely push off a significant amount of pepperoni off the pie before eating it, bc it’s too much). I’m very sad.

What a find!! I got to witness and photograph Black Dog Pizzeria at the Pizza Expo this fall and ever since they have been on my radar. Well, I finally got a chance to try out their pizza and garlic knots (which they won an award for this year) and I was so impressed. The vibes of the store were amazing and the staff was so kind and genuinely cared about every customer that walked in the door. 10/10 pizza and 11/10 garlic knots!

Have ordered from them a few times now. Always super yummy. The last time I got the atta boy which is so unique and tasty! This time was the stromboli, which was quickly devoured 😋 my tummy has no complaints. Can't wait to try more of their food soon.

First time trying this place as it has had good reviews - Got 2 pizzas and garlic knots. Double pepperoni was so greasy it pooled in the corner of the box and leaked onto the car seats. Too greasy to eat also. 2nd was a pesto - it was solid . Garlic knots were OK. When i called about the pepperoni , thy wouldn’t refund only offered to remake, even though we tipped a pickup order and they also charged us to pay with a credit card . Overall a substandard experience .

The delivery drivers are always nice, and I live in an anterior apartment complex with an annoying gate and door code. The food is always good! And when I mess up my online order between pickup and delivery, they are great at correcting it and charging the difference for delivery fee. Thank you BDP and happy holidays!
