This place is LOUD and we had probably the quietest location possible, next to the kitchen window in the Whiskey room. The food was good- but nothing out of the ordinary. I had fish and chips which were greasier than I would have expected. Others at the table had shepherds pie, which was very good, the lamb burger, and the Brussel sprout salad which looked really good, but the kitchen forgot to put the dressing on it. There are too many great restaurants in the area to repeat this one.
Always a good experience at FADO. Staff is friendly 💯 and overall vibe is relaxed. Food is good, consistent and about right!
The owners transformed Fado in Dublin into a Irish world of wonder. Classier than ever but still as charming as a walk through County Cork. ☺️
We made a reservation and during the process was asked if we were coming for a special event. I selected anniversary. We celebrated our 30th anniversary. We were surprised and disappointed to find out that Fado does not acknowledge special occasions with a complimentary dessert or a toast. Just a heads up. The food was very good, but a bit pricey.
If you want to be big don't expect mme to bus my own table and give me to go boxes to fill. Grow up
Food and drinks were awful. Food was cold, drinks were either over-poured or mis-made. Service was fine, good demeanor and understanding. It was the only place that did not need a reservation, and it shows why. Would suggest a place for a beer and some conversation, only.
We had a great experience. I went there for a business lunch. Everybody enjoyed the food. We had one hiccup. When I asked for my beet salad to go with chicken, I should've checked prior to leaving because they forgot my chicken, but they still charged me for it. Other than that, everything was great.
The food was amazing and the ambiance was great. I was with a large party celebrating my birthday, so that was important. The restaurant was really busy as well. I noted that it was my birthday when I made the reservation, but they did not acknowledge that. Also, we were not checked on enough. We had to seek out the staff when we wanted something. I ordered the cheesecake for my dessert and I was very disappointed they didn't have strawberry topping for it. I was given plain strawberries and told they did not have the syrup topping that most places have. It was good, but it needed to be a little closer to room temperature. It tasted almost frozen. Overall, the food was good.
The fish and chips are my fave! So happy they are running a buy 1 get 1 1/2 off special for month of August. Seriously well seasoned and lightly battered cod with seasoned steakhouse fries-it just doesn't get any better for pub fare! Add in excellent attentive wait service and a nice ambiance...it deserves a high rating
Really had great service and our food was yummy! Prices were fantastic for today's typical restaurant and for that value, we can't wait to go back. Geroge, our server was very helpful with menu choices. Loved the lemon pasta my cocktail was refreshing. Now I am hungry again just thinking about it!

The food was good. The beet hummus was unique and the shakshuka was decent. The irish breakfast was a little underwhelming as the black and white pudding was a little small. The harvest bread pudding was great except the single canned mandarin orange didn't really fit. There was a kid screaming the entire time but otherwise it would've been a nice noise level.
Lovely restaurant, great food and drinks, good music, and excellent service. A perfect night with friends.
Great for reception and work dinner in every single way. It's def on the book for future work celebration.
Our server was wonderful. It was fairly quiet for brunch inside. The breakfast potatoes were excellent. The poached eggs on the Rosie's Brunch bowl were well past poached but the flavors were good. Will definitely be back.
Fish and chips were good but not excellent. Had better in Scotland. I ordered a 12 year old Glenfiddich whisky but was charged for a 15 year old. Service was quite good. Appetizer was also very good.
