My idea of breakfast is a breakfast bar on the way out the door or talking to a speaker at a drive thru. I have been cured of that now. Friendly greeting at the door, shown to seats at the counter, more friendly faces, fast drink order then time to peruse the menu. Didn’t take me long. Saw the chicken hash and stopped. Cojita cheese was the clincher. And it was delicious too. No more hurried breakfasts!

We haven't been to First Watch in a long time because well frankly, they never were that great. Always pushing the fruit which was always full of melon. We decided after 10+ years to give it a go. The old Mellow Mushroom location is rather cute. My son ordered the chocolate chip pancake with pork sausage. Apple juice on the side. 10/10. He loved it. I ordered the two egg brekie. The 2 scrambled eggs were tiny. Seemed like seriously one egg. The toast was super dry. The potatoes which were perfectly cooked were insanely over salted. I was told that they pre-season them so they could not make a fresh batch. They subbed a side which was mediocre and we finished our meal. Service was good. Will not ever return. First Watch is fortunate that they do not have much competition in Dublin for breakfast. You are much better off to fix it at home!
