Great little sandwich, submarine & salad shop! The food is wonderful, not over-priced and served with enthusiasm and smiles. They, also, serve beer and offer a well-stocked bar! Today was my first experience within Frank and Carl's, and I shall be returning, certainly.Vegetarian options: Their Greek-style "Telly Saladas" salad was huge and delicious! May not be vegan, however, definitely vegetarian.

Had my vehicle serviced at Acura of Columbus and decided to walk around Bridge park for a place to have lunch at. After making a few rounds I finally decided to stop in at Frank & Carls. After viewing the menu for a bit I couldn't decide which sandwich I wanted even after i went online to get some suggestions. I asked for a recommendation and the gentleman suggested the Ma Fratella, but after a few more minutes of looking over the menu I decided for the HOF which is their roast beef, provolone, lettuce, tomato, roasted garlic-horseradish mayo. Sandwiches are a la carte so everything is additional. Not complaining just advising based on my observation. Sandwich prices ranged from $7-12. which is very good for that location. It's Bridge Park so I was expecting a toll fee or something add to my final bill. J/k don't dM mean messages Im not being fr!! I noticed when my sandwhich came out it read Jeff on it. The Jeff had Roast beef, white cheddar, spring mix, bacon-onion-fig jam, tomato and roasted garlic balsamic vinaigrette, dijon mustard. Little concerned here cuz i saw Fig jam and me no likey sweet on anything that's a sandwhich.. I didn't want to haggle or make an issue so I went ahead and ate it like the food lover I am. Surprisingly the sandwhich was good. Only because I'm not fan of anything sweet in my sandwiches and again this is just my " personal " preference. However, If you do like the sweet then this sandwich is a good choice. Oh I also ordered the Ma Fra pasta salad. It was good combination of pasta and some italian meats and the dressing was flavorful. Again, a little sweet for my taste but it was still good. Frank and Carls is a good place to come to for something easy and fun. They have three long community tables if you wanted to dine in and stools to sit by the window if you wanted to people watch. They also have a decent bar if you wanted to knock back some beers or get some custom drinks. Place was clean, staffers were nice and welcoming and to me that speaks volumes.

I always love stopping in? Great drink prices for being in bridgepark! And I actually do find myself day dreaming about the Havana daydream!

Had the pesto chicken wrap. It was so good! Not dry like some wraps but wet/juicy! That's why I took a separate photo of the pesto juice stuff that was drippy ..so yum!! The roasted tomatoes were perfect. Wrap was so flavorful I would definitely get it again. More of a gourmet wrap rather than your typical dry boring wrap. I don't normally order potato salad but didn't want chips so thought why not. OMG- they need to promote that potato salad more. Gourmet!- it was roasted potatoes with skin on, perfect size of chopped/not giant chunks like some that I don't like, the flavor was like a bit smoky and a bit spicy and not too mayo or too mustardy but perfect, very flavorful and so glad I got it! Hubby had the Evie bagel and said it was good. They have a great bourbon selection so we got a bourbon neat to share after our sandwiches. This is random but the brown butcher paper wrap with a sticker for the sandwiches is a nice quality touch and added to the experience for me. We dined in and enjoyed reading all of the movie quotes that are painted on the wall and trying to remember which movies they were from. Neat stop for a weekday lunch date. We noticed several people stopping in to pick up orders so looks like it is a local hit for lunch.

I ordered the Ma Frattelli as well as my friend. It's under the Hot Sub section, so I assume it would be hot. It was barely luke warm and ice cold in most of it I understand the veggies being cold. I'm talking about the meat. Next time, I'm going to Tommy's, Massey's or Mr Hero. My father in law got the Big Dainty. Not sure if his was hot or not. I should have sent it back. There is no need to return to Frank and Carl's

Made my sandwich quick, but too quick. If im paying $12 for a sandwich i would like you do put a little more time into it and not hand it to me in 10 seconds. And NOT to my surprise the sandwich tasted nasty. There was way too much mustard and there was a hint of moldy flavor throughout the whole thing. Yuck!

This was stop on the Dublin food tour and one of the ones that were most surprising because I hadn’t heard of this place and didn’t know what they served. The sandwich was good. The bagel chip was ok and the pimento spread was fine. The menu items are film inspired which was neat.

Fantastic sandwich! I had the Big Dainty and it was delicious. The pastrami was top notch, well topped sandwich, on a soft and delicious sub style bun. I will be back soon to try more of their sandwiches.

I'm really on the fence about my trip to Frank and Carl's for lunch today. It's a fun, busy place, with good bagels and creative sandwiches, but, based on today, might not be a repeat to visit. Pros: The staff were really friendly and worked a super busy line in an efficient and polite manner! Sandwiches are a good size, and the ingredients are very fresh. A little off: There aren't a lot of on menu meatless or pork free options. There is a veggie bagel and a veggie sub, chips, and potato salad, but just about everything else, you have to modify. Normally, I would have scouted the menu in advance, but we made a game day decision to grab lunch and walked in, so I was a bit disappointed. This one is hard, but, while I was there, for nearly the whole time (~ an hour), the place smelled really strongly of cigarette smoke. Not like it was wafting in from outside, but like, smoking in the bathroom strong. I didn't see anyone smoking, but it was coming from somewhere and it was not pleasant. When it's busy, seating is a bit limited. Yes, I deployed a child as a seat saver. No, I am not ashamed. Parking is standard Bridge Park - you might not get a street spot, but there are plenty of garages, and, as of right now, it's still free to park.

I stopped in for Lunch and I had a pretty good sub. I order the "Two Vests and a Flannel" which was: Served Hot pastrami + smoked cheddar - lettuce, tomato, spicy mustard, pickle slices and chive cream cheese. I loved the hot pastrami contrasted with the cold veggies, it was exactly what I was seeking. The chive cream cheese was interesting as a twist but I might substitute mayo instead but I would certainly try this sandwich again or comeback to try something else. Casual atmosphere and pretty small place overall and of course Bridgepark is quite nice overall. It's four stars instead of five because the meat was so limited. Look at my pic and you see very limited pastrami and a bunch of lettuce.

Very good food. Got Jeff's pants and it was delicious. I will definitely be back for more!
