Stopped here for dinner at Bridge park. I went for the Sal butcher sub. It tasted okay. It was rather skimpy though for $15. You get way more meat on a sub at Jersey Mike's or a place like that for Less Price. But it was okay and was correct as I ordered it.

Sonnet for Gallo’s Pie
Who knew that ‘twixt great cities' flour-flung fight,
New York’s thin edge, Chicago’s laden deep.
A hidden crown in modest Ohio might
Raise crusts that wake the dreaming taste from sleep?
No boast of steel, no skyline made it known,
But dough and flame in secret formed its claim;
Where humble streets in shadowed silence shone,
A kingdom rose, and Gallo was its name.
With every bite, the room begins to sing,
Strangers made kin by sauce and baked delight;
A smile, a nod, and laughter takes to wing,
All hail the pie that makes the world feel right.

Food and service were fine, but I was charged a credit card service fee on my party of 3 after having to pay over $3 for a drink. Thought I would be supportive by dining local, but this is outrageous and greedy!!!!

This slice of Bridge Park is great. There is always something going on in the North Market. Gallos has incredible pizza - the dough is New York - good chewiness, it folds but doesn’t droop, a little crispiness on the outside. It’s in the top 3 New York style in all of cbus. Solid.

Just No! The 6.00 dollar (5.50) slices are not worth the money. We purchased the Margherita slice, and the fresh mozerella was scarce, and for some reason the size of dimes. Why? No Thanks!

I was looking for something remotely healthy to eat in the bridge park north market and saw that the pizzeria offered salads. I got the Mama G’s salad. Nothing special, however it was freshly made and came with vinaigrette that I thought was good! The salad was $12.95.
