Chicken fried rice is the best. Crowd is fun in the bar area. Happy hour till 7 with great selections of food and drinks.

Exceptional service and a great experience! The pomegranate martini is my new favorite happy hour drink in Dublin. This is the perfect drink for sitting on their lovely patio and enjoying beautiful weather and food.Spicy tuna rolls and crispy spring rolls were delicious and light enough to pair perfectly with drinks but still filling as an appetizer. Edamame was fresh and perfectly seasoned.A great first experience and I’m looking forward to coming back soon and trying more of their fare. Service was incredibly kind, quick and knowledgeable of the menu. Atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. This is a great spot!

My pad Thai is "extra vegetables". There are hardly any veggies as all and they're all massively overcooked and mushy. Everything we ordered lacked freshness but had really good flavors. This is a GREAT location, gorgeous patio, and I love having an ethnic food option in Dublin (even though they still have all the Dublin classics on the menu too god forbid the people of Dublin skip chicken parm on a night out). I think another issue is they basically have two menus, Asian and Dublin, I think they need to pick a single menu and go with it. The Asian side is great if they freshen everything up. Great staff also.

Excellent staff and menu. Nice pricing and atmosphere. Close enough to near by attractions.

Their happy hour is amazing! Great drink specials and so much yummy food. We ordered almost one of everything but our favorite was the avocado and the dumplings. Everything we had was delicious though. We also tried the old fashioned and the Pomegranate martini which also did not disappoint. Definitely worth the visit, especially during happy hour.

We like the atmosphere here. The crab ragoons, pot stickers, Japanese eggplant, and the Pad Thai were all delicious. Dan, our bartender, made great cocktails. You need to try the New Fashioned and Shanghai Mule.

my wife and I ordered j Liu for take out. we were told that our order would take 15 minutes to make. 1 hour and 15 minutes later, we were told our ticket was lost after asking 3 times how much longer our food would take. The lack of professionalism was unbelievable as the hostess couldn't even track down the manager to have a conversation with us. I can't see us ever returning here after the horrible customer service.

It is ok. It it like an asian -cheesecake factory with a mish mash of cuisine. the bar is great for quick sushi and cocktails. The lettuce wraps are bland. no cucumber, carrots, just noodle and chicken with lettuce not bib lettuce.Staff is friendly. Parking is easy. Take out is online only- forget calling.

Extraordinary food. Very unique menu. As a chef in this city I'm very selective when I go eat anywhere... I always enjoy eating here. And the Bartender Dan is on a completely different level of awesome!

J. Liu is a nice restaurant, but it's also something of a sports bar. The bar area gets lively and loud, but a fine dining experience is also available. The food is very good and the prices are great for what you get, quality and quantity wise.

We had a really nice dinner here, this Tuesday. We arrived before 7pm, so we were able to each have a drink for their happy hour, plus an appetizer. The potstickers were delicious and served nice and hot. My Rita Rita was perfect and refreshing. My husband had 2 Manhattens, and he found them good too. Interesting menu, with both Asian choices including sushi, plus Italian choices! I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken parmesan and my husband had the combination Pad Thai, which he loved. We both took home leftovers, and they were good the next day too! Check this place out, great atmosphere here.
