I love their Ruben sandwich. Packed full of delicious corned beef, I'm never not satisfied with this sandwich.

I’d had a bad experience there before but decided to give it another chance. I’m done. Ordered a sandwich and asked for Dijon to be added. Instead I was given extra mayo and my sandwich was ridiculously sloppy and had to be taken apart to fix it. I think I removed a tablespoon of mayo off of my sandwich and it still had plenty left. And with deconstruction I confirmed that there was in fact, no mustard. Sandwich was good but not what I ordered. The person who brought my sandwich basically tossed my bag at me and said “here”.
I know the parking sucks in German Village but it’s 100% better than dealing with getting a mayo bomb tossed at me in Dublin. If you want a good sandwich given to you by nice people, go to the original location.

The Reuben was SUPERB!

Delicious Ruben sandwich. We bought brownies, cheeses, chips, cherry cheesecake, coffee cake, blue cheese stuffed pickles & chocolate truffles. Great service & friendly staff.

Fantastic sandwiches found here! Same atmosphere as original. Dinged stars for prices and they served WAY burned rocks of latkkes. But the quality of sandwiches are the reason to have an expensive but fantastic deli experience.

Cute deli space with friendly employees and plenty of parking outside (lot). I had a Janis' Special Can-Do in a regular size replacing the mustard with mayo; bread was great and well-toasted, cheese and turkey were tasty but BOY they slathered on that mayo just a bit too heavy. The mayo was tasty, there was just soooo much of it.

Also got a cheese blintz with preserves. It was pretty decent - preserves weren't anything special but the blitz itself was good.

Food came out very quickly. I just wish they had more than the world's tiniest little to-go box which didn't even fit half of my sandwich.

The place is pretty cute on the inside. Parking is convenient as it's right out front so no need to deal with street parking or a garage or anything like that. The service was good, quick & attentive. The food was also good, although they kinda skimped when I asked for extra lettuce and tomato... wasn't really ... EXTRA like I asked. $17 for a sandwich is also pretty crazy to me, but... I wasn't the one paying for it so ... I didn't even look at prices when I ordered.

ONLY due to the prices I won't be able to afford to be back here.

I was hankering for a sandwich and got recommended this place. On first impression, you walk into an area that looks like a regular deli counter. Then you look up at the menu and there are so many options, it’s almost overwhelming. They are all organized by which meat is running the show on the sandwich, which I liked. Along with sandwiches, you can order sliced meat as well as traditional Jewish food. One thing I couldn’t find on the menu was the difference between their sizes. I asked and one is a quarter pound and the other half pound of meat. The sandwiches are pretty expensive at $18 per sandwich with no sides. Once you order, you head back to the dining area and the area where they make the real sandwiches. In front are two barrels will self-serve pickles. I have mixed feelings about it because I like unlimited pickles but also it is an open container sitting out all day, which is a little unsanitary. The area was clean but at least half of the tables were out of napkins and I had to jump from table to table looking for some. The employees were nice but some were standing around and could’ve replenished the napkins. I ordered the upper Ruben that was featured on Food Network and it was pretty fantastic. I really enjoy their sandwiches but the prices keep me from frequenting here more.

Vegetarian options: They have some options.

Parking: Large lot out front.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible.

As a 15 year veteran of Kitzingers in German village was my first foray into Dublin Katchinger's. The service was okay, No bread or butter came with my matzoball soup. I had to ask for it. Could use a little more cleaning up. Even though nobody was in there and as far as the food goes traditionally. I love the liver sandwich. It was great quality. But the matzoball soup, it was The worst I ever tasted. The broth tasted like it was just water with no seasoning and I've been drinking that for 15 years and liking it every time. I ever had it, but not this one.
