Ugg, I read the reviews of others, and most of them were spot on, thought we might still check it out. The place needs a money infusion. It looks, feels, and smells tired. We walked in and it was very dark, too dark. The floor was sticky, and my nephew said the place smelled. That was it. We did an about face and left. It's ashame, you could see it used to be a very higher end Japanese restaurant years ago. The outside had some really (although neglected) nice landscaping. To the owners, either do it right or get out of the business.

Absolutely loved this place!! I expressed to our waiter that my daughter and I were in a rush to get to an appt. We didn’t expect the traffic (2hr drive) but the waiter was very accommodating and made sure we still had an enjoyable meal. We sat at the sushi bar. I can say that if you are short (I am 5’2”), you have to raise up out of your seat to lean over and eat from the countertop. It’s not super expensive. We got 5 rolls total with 2 kani salads for $60. Sooooo delicious!! Definitely recommend!!

Felt hurried/rushed, even though place was mostly empty (which may indicate something on a Saturday evening at 6 pm). Chef was friendly but aside from fire and volcano, no “show”. Will try other Japanese steakhouses and will likely not return to this one.

I made a reservation online, and that did not matter at all. We were waiting just as long as folks who had just walked in, and I requested to not sit next to others at a grill, to have a regular table (as this was a date) and they sat us at a full table with strangers anyway. Our waitress was phenomenal, but the host staff were kind of rude. The food itself was good though, I really liked the steak.

Wry good food. Service was very good. Above average. Owner/manager was always on the move to make sure everyone was taken care of. This is the place to go for sure.

Food was good. Disappointed in the amount of vegetables they gave as a carry out. Mostly rice and maybe a half cup of veggie which contained mostly bean sprouts. I had one little piece of zucchini , 2 tiny shavings of carrots, one little broccoli and onions. We wanted to start using them for work lunches but unfortunately that will not be happening.
