BEWARE! They add 18% automatically for a "large party" when we had just 5 people. Not made clear even when the bill came and we questioned why the Toast payment app listed tip % of 2, 3, or 7%. We wondered why those suggested amounts were so small but nothing was said by the server. What a SCAM!

My family dined here yesterday for a family event- we have come here often but yesterday in particular was a terrible experience. Our cook Joe was unfriendly and did nothing to create a great customer experience. He was short in his responses and several times- flapped his order sheet at us. It wasn't until after I called him out on his behavior that the service somewhat improved. As for the food, the salad was watery and he (Joe) didn't even season the food (no butter or soy sauce in the rice and meat). A lot has changed in the past year at this restaurant and it's unfortunate. For me its a 0/10. Oh, lets not forhrt the automatic gratuity that's added despite the service being horrible.

Stopped in for an early dinner. Food was ok. Chef seemed like his enthusiasm left the building a while ago. That's ok, though. seen the show enough times. The problem I had was the automatic 18% tip that was not stated. Plus after the auto tip the attendant hands the machine over on a tip screen for even more tips, which I did because I was not aware they already added their own tip. Be aware if you go here.

Referrals/Reviews/Word of mouth are usually the greatest compliments to a business. Please Note: Never go to this restaurant! One of the top indicators of poor customer service include long wait times. I waited a total of 1 1/2hrs for my food. Everyone else in my party and others around the table finished their food. I had to ask the waitress for my food. The waitress came back with noodles “saying there’s 14 other people ahead of me so the rest of my food will be another 15 minutes” (which turned into another 1/2) I asked for the manager who knows me as a frequent customer. The manger apologized, offered a gift card and said that’s all he can do. He then started providing excuses by saying we came on a busy Saturday, we were 15 minutes late for our reservations, and that’s all he can do. I said it’s my birthday and I’m the only one that didn’t eat. He shrugged his shoulders and said there’s nothing I can do, sorry. He didn’t even suggest taking the cost off the bill just for my food. The containers were half empty anyway. I told him to keep the food and take it off my bill. I didn’t take the $20 gift card because It didn’t even come close to covering my total bill and I’ll never go back to this restaurant. He agreed to take the half empty containers back and take the food off my bill. There were only 5 people in my party. If you subtract my order that leaves 4. The restaurant still charged the other two paying people in my party $14 a piece for a large party. This is a rip off! I asked them to at least take those additional charges off their bill. He said he can’t do that. Unacceptable practices!I frequent this restaurant. The manager and staff know me and know my order due to allergies. If they provide horrible service to someone they know very well, imagine how they’ll treat new customers. Totally ruined my birthday party!!! Kyoto Japanese Steak House in Dublin, Ohio, your service is regrettable and extremely disappointing.

It’s the best Japanese hibachi I’ve had in Columbus. Even better than the one downtown. I love it! Every time I want fresh hibachi I go to this one. The chefs are amazing and so nice and Friendly. They are very talented and entertaining and every time the food is cooked amazing. The waitress are usually very nice and timely. It’s clean and the inside of the resteraunt is very cool it looks like you are outside in Japan.Kid-friendliness: The kids love to see the fire! And laugh every time the little boy pees on the fire haha but it’s just a fake spray bottle with water. They have high chairs and the chefs always make the kids feel special and talk to them and smile with them. It’s very sweet. We love coming here as a family. When my youngest was a baby he was a bit scared of the fire and would cry sometimes. Now that he’s older, he loves it!

Management is very nasty and very inconsiderate. We went there for a party of twenty five and if one of us got up to use the restroom, he would take our chairs I think he's the owner. He is very, very inconsiderate and rude to you. We only spent about $700 in there. Sir, and once we got done eating like. I said before if we got up to use the restroom, he would take our chair. We were still drink and spending money. Of course, but of course, our money was no good to him. The food was good. The service was good but he is Apo SI will never. Bring anybody else up there nor will I go back to that place Another thing I simply ask for extra onions instead of mushrooms. Because I do not like mushrooms. He told me no I would have to pay for The extra onions. And we have been going there for at least 17 years without a problem, but since it changed names and management. That guy is a joke.. I went back there one time after that. Thinking he was just a manager and again. He was lucky that I'm a pretty level-headed guy. That used to be a great place to eat

Tasty and a fun time. Felt a little rushed, and perhaps understaffed chef-wise. Was a very nice guy but felt he hurried through the routine and skipped things.

We went for Christmas Eve dinner. The food was great, as always, but we never did receive any refills. The place was very busy though so I'm sure that's not typical. The cocktails were tasty!

Stopped in to get gift cards and had to stay for sushi & drinks. Great place.Kid-friendliness: We had a 9 month old baby with us - they have high chairs handy & everyone stopped to chat with our very social little guy. We felt welcomed & cared for.

Went during lunch. It was empty, there were only 2 other cars in the parking lot. The first thing that was served was a salad that was more like soup. The salad literally floated in 2 inches of watered down salad dressing. Also ordered scallops and filet. The scallops were more like one scallop cut into thin strips. The scallops were burnt a bit and because of the way they were cut and cooked made it made them super rubbery. Not good. First and last time going here. Don't recommend.
