I arrived at this charming bistro with a big appetite for something special, and I was not disappointed. I asked for Beef Burgundy, and it was even better than expected. Succulent, slow roasted carrots, mushrooms and shreds of caramelized onions accompanied tender beef in the delectable broth that the dish is known for. I expected a small baguette, but instead received a deep square of puff pastry filled with mashed potatoes. I can and do make beef burgundy myself, but this is extremely good. Treat yourself to a late lunch here as this location is closed at dinner (too bad!). The wisteria is already blooming on the top of the pergola above the large outdoor portion of the cafe. If it's cold, as it was today, you won't be disappointed by the rustic country French decor inside.

Wonderful food. Everything was fresh, hot and quick. I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The patio was lovely. I want to visit again.

This is my second review of La Chatelaine Dublin. I live in Dublin, I love the food here, love the location, and spend most weekends in Bridge Park so I would be a regular here if only the service was not so terrible. Every time we come here we say it will be the last because it's always a negative experience. The ordering process at the counter is not a good one - the menu is way too complex for this and the people behind the counter are consistently not just unhelpful but rude (or speak no English whatsoever, but always one of the two). Getting anything like a condiment or refill after you order is basically impossible. The young French woman that helped us Saturday was so snotty we almost just left without eating. It's every time, though. It's a management issue.

We just did an overnight in Columbus to go to the Zoo and we stopped for breakfast here. The food was awesome as well as their customer service.

La Chatelaine is a great restaurant with a French inspired menu. Great food, beverages, and cozy seating options including a nice patio that faces the side street. This is my first visit to the Dublin location, although I've been to the Worthington one many times. Dublin lived up to expectations. Highly recommended.

La Chatelaine exudes an air of charm and sophistication, transporting diners to the streets of Paris with its authentic French ambiance. Stepping through the door, I was greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly baked pastries and the warm glow of the bustling bakery. The atmosphere is lively yet intimate, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely brunch with a friend. As I walked up to the counter, I was greeted by a friendly face who promptly took my order. Opting for the classic Eggs Benedict, I decided to pair it with a rich, aromatic coffee to kickstart my morning. The Eggs Benedict arrived promptly, plated elegantly with perfectly poached eggs nestled atop golden English muffins and smothered in velvety hollandaise sauce. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, with the richness of the eggs complemented by the tangy sauce and buttery muffins. But it's not just the food that impresses--it's the impeccable service that truly sets La Chatelaine apart. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring that every diner feels welcomed and well taken care of. As I sipped my coffee and savored every bite of my meal, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over me. La Chatelaine isn't just a bakery--it's a culinary experience, one that leaves you longing to return again and again.

We have been coming here for years and it is always a treat! Their breakfast menu is so tasty and the lobster bisque is truly the best in town. Be sure to support this locally owned family business!

La Chatelaine is very consistent in offering up delicious pastries. I personally enjoy the plain butter croissant but I must say that the chocolate croissant does not disappoint. The restaurant is typically busy in the morning as they do have a decent size breakfast menu.

Stopped in after dinner to grab a pastry for dessert. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to pick from. I decided to get a hot chocolate, which was good. I guess I was just underwhelmed at what they offered. The service was friendly and nice.

First time here and love it! We were instantly greeted when we walked in and had some lovely fresh baked pastries to pick from. We got the strawberry tart and chocolate croissant with a cup of house coffee. They were so delicious we had to get a traditional butter croissant after! Loved it and can't wait to go back again!
