I thought Maison Skalli was just a small café at first. But once I walked in, I realized it’s a lot more than that. The place was full of life — people chatting, cups clinking, and the smell of fresh coffee filling the air. It had that warm, easy energy that makes you want to stay for a while.
Almost everyone had the same drink on their table — the Signature Coffee — so I decided to try it too. The rim was brushed with chocolate sauce and rolled in crushed pistachios, topped with a thick, creamy foam that was lightly toasted on top. It looked amazing — like something made with real care.
When I took a sip, the flavors blended together — chocolate, coffee, and a touch of nuttiness. It was rich and smooth, the kind of drink that makes you pause for a moment and smile.
In the pastry case, every dessert looked like a little piece of art. The details, the colors, the way the light hit each one — you could tell someone really loves what they do here.

Wow! This place is a gem! If you haven't been here..don't walk...run! The pastries are perfection. The sandwiches are so delicious! We got the scrambled egg croiwaffle which was best breakfast sandwich I've eaten in a long time. Eggs were fluffy and cooked to perfection and the side salad on the plate was so fresh & delicious, too. We also got the caprese mozzarella panini which was delicious! The owners are so kind and accommodating. Please support them. They are opening a Short North location soon so make sure to stop there if you work downtown. Taking a box of these croissants and pastries to your co-workers surely will make you a hit at work!

The food is excellent, and the staff is very nice. They need a bigger space. There are outside tables, but just a few inside. Don't leave without taking a few gourmet croissants to go.

Very good experience at Maison Skllk. Freshly made croissants and delicious brunch. Clean and excellent customer service. I got salmon poached eggs croissant and it was unbelievable. They also have premium coffee. Will come back to try other pastries. They make luxury French style pastries that it’s impossible to find similar here in ohio. They also make butter cookies from scratch
