Matt the Miller's Tavern

This is my third time here in the past month, and it has quickly become my new favorite restaurant! The food is so good and the managers that stopped by my table tonight made the night extra special!

Steak ordered medium well came out medium rare. Quickly fixed. But steak was not great quality all.

Our server was great and told us not to rush several times. It was a nice time catch up with friends and not feel rushed to order and leave. Food was excellent, I had salmon, my friend had walleye and the other strip steak. All very good. Thank you

The Bourbon Salmon was terrific! We loved the pretzel bites. Dustin was fun and did a great job of timing dinner with the appetizers.

We love Matt the Miller! It was an incredibly beautiful late summer afternoon, so we sat outside to enjoy the perfect weather. Our server was nice - good sense of humor - and took care of us ... except he needs some tutoring in the basics of food and drink. My prime rib - medium temp - came to the table incinerated - well-done+ - and my Zinfandel request was White Zin (NO!) and he didn't know the difference. Sad. We'll go back to MTM for sure and hopefully the management will prepare their servers better in the interim.

We have been there many times over the years. Kinda smells musty. It was steak night. Salads came out at different times, steaks were rare when we asked for medium. Broccoli was hardly cooked. Disappointing

Bathroom was dirty with multiple pieces of wet toilet paper on the floor in both stalls in the ladies room & the floor was wet in each stall as well. The floor wasn't wet from recently being mopped, it was wet from maybe a leak or overflow?

Patrick was fantastic. Great service and a couple of delicious bloody Mary’s.

We enjoyed a great late afternoon on the patio. The weather was ideal, good food and drinks and the service was excellent. Justin C was attentive, knowedgeable and took care of all of our needs...great personality!

Always a nice place to sit with a friend for good and refreshments after a long week. I love the Miller salad and their burgers.

For our first ever experience at MTM, the appetizers and entrees were absolutely delicious. Miles took care of our orders and he made excellent recommendations. He was very attentive to our needs and played a part in our desire to return for a second visit in the near future. Nate, the supervisor, was also instrumental in making sure we were well taken care of. He was a good sport when I told him we were traveling food critics and planned to leave a critical review on our food blog. Of course we were only joking with him. The atmosphere was very inviting and casual. We will definitely be returning soon.

We had a wonderful meal and time out. I hardly ever order steak out (we all know we guys make our own favorite). But, I had a hankering. When I saw the price point, I thought....this may solidify me never buying steak out again. In the $40's for varying cuts of steak. I got the Filet. I had hopes it would at least not make me feel violated and come close to being worth the price. It wasn't close. It was worth every penny. The mac and cheese was terrific. I do think they forgot my au jus sauce. I didn't notice until after we were finished. I'm fairly certain the menu states all steaks come with. That said, overall we will be back for certain. I give service a three here only because I think the wait staff who were working in tandem to take care of our section could benefit from being single focused. We needed a few things from time to time and we got the impression that one waiter thought the other waiter had already touched our table. Which left long gaps of checkins, and we would've ordered another round from the bar at minimum. But, by the time we finished eating, it was like...let's just go. Drinks are cold and free at the house:) Definitely no shade on the servers. I'm only mentioning it so that management can rethink having two servers taking care of the same zone:) See you all soon!
