Friendly service and good sandwiches.

The staff was awesome. They were knowledgeable and attentive. I asked what was better, the Ruben or the French Dip. The lady didn't want to play favorites and said both were good. So my husband and I got both.

I for one loved the Ruben. The meat was moist and the sauerkraut was delicious! It was perfect and I would come back just for that one sandwich. However, the potato salad had too much mayo and not enough mustard for my liking. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't get it again.

The French Dip was just okay. It didn't stand out like the Ruben. The meat wasn't dry but it wasn’t as moist as I would have liked. The bun was perfect but the au jus sauce was also just okay. I like a little tang in my sauce but this stores flavor were lacking. The Mac and cheese was gross. The noodles were way overdone but the cheese was good.

Overall, wonderful service, I could have gotten a better French Dip at Arbys, sides weren't very good, and the Ruben saved this restaurant a star.

Had a potato and the chicken tortilla soup and it was fantastic!! Melissa at the register was extremely sweet and helpful and Ben the manager made sure I had everything I needed.

Absolutely horrible experience. Incompetent employees. Waited forever to place an order, then they had no idea how to use our coupons. Avoid this location! Just go to the other location in the Columbus area and save yourself a headache.

Catastrophic - wasted 30 minutes of our time. Workers were slow, rude, and incompetent. They took forever waiting on the people in front of us, got orders wrong, and couldn't figure out how to make a lemonade machine stop blowing lemonade everywhere. We had coupons for free cookies, and they had no clue how to use them. They claimed that their cash register has absolutely no spot to type in a coupon code so we cannot use the coupons. I've never seen such incompetence in my life.

Walked in the door and stood at the counter for almost a minute before an employee came out the back and when I made the joke. I thought no one was working there was no sorry just a response that they were in the back having a debate about superheroes. Places the order. Once we got home he found there were missing items (side of potato salad) along with items I asked to be taken off my food were on there still. Along with no mayo or the horseradish Dijon just a dry sandwich.

This place is unrated when it comes to a great meal. Hot, good portions and delicious.....stop by lunch or dinner.

I love McCallister's delicious sandwiches. I got the king club on a crescent. I ordered in advance so that I could grab my food and go. When I got there, it was still a good wait. But my order was correct and the food was delicious.
I will be back, and I definitely recommend this deli for great selection and fresh food.

I've ate here 3-4 times now and my food is always nasty as hell. There's a million better sandwich places in Columbus.

Absolutely pathetic 2 people working sandwiched quality really bad, won’t be back, who has 25 minutes to wait on a club sandwich at lunch time in a half empty restaurant.

Always fresh food. Solid menu. Reasonable prices. GREAT STAFF AND OUTSTANDING SERVICE!

Added on 4/20/25:

Sad to report that food quality is suffering at this store. Ordered 2 “Pick 2” meals for carryout tonight. Both “creamy” soups were more jello-like and lumpy. French dip sandwich was soggy and the meat very grisly and cheese non-existent. Four cheese grilled sandwich on ciabatta, which is usually warm and soft, was scorched/burned and dry and brittle. Very disappointing meal!

We will keep coming back in hopes of a better experience. They deserve our support as we have been coming here since they opened many years ago.

Food is great, but the service is always terrible and slow. There is never any urgency.
