Five stars for the ambiance and service. Food was very good but not great. We had a party of 7, and service was great. Arancini, Caesar salad, and burrata were just ok. Sausage & Pepper pizza was just ok also. NY strip steak was good. Short rib risotto was good. Lasagna and Mezzo chicken slapped. Campanella Bolognese was unexpectedly not a tomato base so that wasn't liked. Calamari was too salty. Gnocchi was also very good
Outside was amazing last night and the service matched it. I forget our servers name (blonde) but she was amazing. So attentive! Bus boys were also great too! Always love the food. Never get rid of the parm fries.
Except that it's always a little (and sometimes a lot) noisy Mezzo is really kicking it lately. Had a nice relaxed meal with a colleague on Friday. A nice rosè wine by the glass. Gnocchi with short rib dish that was quite tasty. And lasagna that according to my colleague was good to the last bite. This could become a habit
