The bad reviews almost made me not order from here but I decided not to listen to them and I’m glad I did! I ordered ropa vieja and the beef croquetas. Both were absolutely delicious and the portion big enough for my hubby and I to share.
We’re big fans of Cuban food, we’ve tried Cuban food from various locations at Little Havana in Miami and some places in New York. I think the quality of the food here is very similar to Cuban food in New York.

The food was not good at all. I had the tostones and rice/beans. I ate two of the four tostones and the meat was not seasoned well. I had to discard the remaining two. The pork and ground meat tasted bad and even left a bad residue on the tostones so that I couldn’t eat them without the meat. This did not taste like authentic Cuban food.

Ordered a tampa Cuban sandwich and fries.
Food: just not good. The Cuban pork was dry, flavorless, and chewy. It is what I would describe as 3day old canned chicken versus pork. The fries were half cooked, just barely fried on the outside and still hard and cool on the inside. First meal I have thrown away without eating atleast half of.
Service: the staff was friendly but despite their beeper systen they lost my order and it wasn't until 15 minutes after waiting and me asking did they realize it. I then waited another 5 minutes to receive the food.
Maybe it was just a really bad day for them, but based on my experience I wouldn't recommend.

I don't enjoy going to Bridge Park. Not my vibe. But I go because the Cuban here is so good and absolutely worth it. If you like Bridge Park, even better.

ok, so after reading some reviews and trying the cuban sandwich myself, i will say that with (my limited understanding) the pork isnt supposed to be seasoned, but very fresh and slow cooked, with some lovely pickles. The sandwich was cooked to order, and i got a coffee drink that was THE BEST espresso ive had. Not bitter at all, and i was sipping on that for awhile. HIGHLY recommend, 10/10

I was worried because of the reviews but my food was outstanding and the tostones were some of the best I’ve ever had. The Cuban sandwich looks small because of being pressed but it is packed with flavor. I grew up in Miami and was missing the taste of home and I got it here!
The food was incredible. This is our second time eating here. I love the maduros, white rice, and ropa vieja. It tastes like a home cooked meal. My only critique is the unwelcoming attitude of the cashier. I felt like he was not happy I was there. Outside of that, the food is worth it.
