Majestic Mess
We went to this boba place because it had higher ratings than the others. Honest shocker. When entering, the atmosphere was awkward and no greeting. I was stared at by the women behind the counter as I entered my order into the kiosk. My husband received his drink and the lid and most of the cup reeked of urine. He took it back to them and the guy said he smelled nothing (he didn’t even smell it). They offered a discount on another drink not even to remake the drink. My husband left the drink there. They wouldn’t even give him a refund. Reporting this place to the Columbus Health department.After reading the responses of the owner on other people’s reviews… WOW… EXTREMELY petty, demeaning, and sad. How unprofessional to tell a minor they need to go get their blood sugar checked because your employees made a drink incorrectly. Big claps for you!

bruh. the atmosphere just weird, all 4 Indian guys behind the counter and they just kept talking non stop, just too noisy for a hanging out place. i really felt like we went to wrong boba place. no greeting whatsoever.they wiped the top of the cup with wet towel or something, it smell so bad. come on now….at least use a clean dry towel to wipe it!! ?i’ll stick with other boba place nearby.

Been here probably 10 times and it’s all been squarely okay— better than other bubble tea places, with the exception of this evening. Husband got taro bubble tea and the boba tasted either rotten or like there was soap in it somehow. I got the same thing without the boba and it tasted fine, so we’re not sure what happened, but for $7 we had to throw it away within a few sips :( unfortunately not going back.

Unfortunately, the few other experiences I've had here since my last review have been similar: the tea is brewed too strongly/for too long, resulting in very drying, borderline metallic tea. Tried the mango milk tea today to try something new, and it was nothing special, very light mango taste. I am pretty sensitive to caffeine, but it's not normal for me to shake as much as I did and get a headache from drinking a fourth of the drink. TMI but this last drink ran right through me. It's a laidback place to hang out with friends, but I don't really recommend it and will definitely not be going out of my way to come back.

They weren't the friendliest bunch the night we went, but they were efficient and the tea was great. The store was very clean both in cleanliness and aesthetics. It's the first time I've been to a Sharetea. As for my tea, I ordered the Hokkaido milk tea which is black tea with a caramel flavor. The tea was scrumptious. The selection of add-ins is good without being too many. I sprung for the mixed pearl with the mini pearls being easier to get through the straw. The pearls were a perfect consistency as well, not being undercooked and hard/starchy or super soft/slimy. Bonus points for being across the parking lot from my job!
Regrettably, I must express my dissatisfaction with this Sharetea location. Unfortunately, every visit leaves me disappointed as the quality and taste of their drinks consistently fall short when compared to other branches. Despite having about 4-5 staff members, the service is disappointingly slow, even when the place is not busy. Whether I opt for milk teas or fruit teas, the beverages at this location consistently fail to meet my expectations. It's disheartening to note the consistent subpar experience at this particular Sharetea branch. I will not be coming here again.

A little Google search and we found this boba place when we were in Columbus. I asked the cashier that was taking my order what her favorite drink was and she said it was the passion fruit one, so I got that. My partner got the black milk tea, both had boba in them. Let me tell you, the reviews are spot on - the boba was very chewy and the right level or sweetness, they are very generous with the amount of boba. The decor was bright and nice. Overall great place for boba if you’re in the area.
