It was a great experience as it always is. The Pearl is an amazing restaurant and I would highly recommend it.

Meal was good as usual and food came out fast. It was a little disappointing that we had to ask for the birthday dessert. Our service was great overall but apparently at the end she asked someone at the end of the table if we were doing dessert I feel like the table doing dessert and the birthday person having dessert is different. It was brought out after we followed up on it which we appreciate. Also my bonus card m that's valid only the beginning of 2026 wouldn't work since apparently it may have never been activated. This was frustrating that there was no offered solution other than I can call CM.

Neill our server was absolutely wonderful in every way, knowledgeable, friendly, attentive but respectful! Music into the restaurant was intermittent, when it was coming through it was really nice but then it would disappear again and it seemed a little lacking in atmosphere. Despite stating it was our anniversary on the booking, no-one acknowledged that which was a shame as that's not been our experience elsewhere. The special was a Thai green Seaford dish and whilst it was delicious, it was very small (and we're British so this was surprising for us in this country)! A tiny amount of rice underneath and only 3 mussels, it definitely could have been a little more generous.

Great dinner with dessert and appetizers. Steak, shrimp, and mud pie were all amazing. Would definitely return.

We had a great table overlooking Bridge Park and New Dublin. Our waitress, Sammy, was fantastic! The Cajun oysters and Smoked Trout were delicious and our drinks were as "top-shelf" as expected. The hanger steak equaled any filet. It ended our anniversary in style!

Came in from out of town, Belle provided excellent service. I had the clam chowder soup and the scallops. Food was delicious. Had part of an Oreo pie for dessert, that was very good, not awesome. Really enjoyed my first time here.

The food was good but the cost was outrageous the size of my beet salad was a handful for $18. Our dinner for 2 with 2 glasses of wine. No appetizer. Just regular dinners ended up costing $145. It’s a nice place but it wasn’t worth $145.

DO NOT eat here if you are POC. Read the recent reviews and think twice before supporting this business. Management is terrible and will profile you. My sister, my brother in-law and his cousins came here for a family dinner while they were in town. It was actually my sister's birthday and although the server gave them a good experience, it escalated quickly when my sister and his cousins were accused of smoking in the washroom. No proof, just blatant accusations from the executive chef Michael Wagner and the manager Nick Krafft. They spent over 1k$ too. The restaurant needs to rethink about how they want their management to represent their values and how they want their customers to be treated.

You need a microscope to see the oysters, smallest oysters I have ever seen in my life, embarrassingly small, especially for a place that considers themselves part oyster bar. I have also noticed that either they have a lot of cancellations or the staff can’t properly seat people, went in on multiple occasions and asked for a seat, we never make a reservation so I’m fine with sitting wherever is open, but, I was told each time that they only have the seating by the oyster bar area open, fine, no problem, but when I see 4-6 tables open and the entire hour I’m eating, never get filled, your either lying to me or can’t properly seat people. Also the management has no backbone when it comes to telling the bar patrons that it’s a restaurant and not a college bar where you and 20 of your friends can stand in the way and take up valuable space while you order only happy hour drinks. All that said I feel like it just boils down to poor management and poor decisions from staff.

Few members of our group was accused of doing something they didn't do by the manager, Nick. Instead of admitting to his mistake, he continued to blame us. Didn't get a good picture of one of the burgers, but it came out with a block of cheese that wasn't melted. Disappointing because we spent over $1000 to celebrate only for the GM to put a damper on the night. I would expect better from a place like this.

We are first time visitors and fell in love with the decor and hospitality of the staff instantly. The food was amazing. We ordered oysters baked and fried. We ordered short rib and kimchi rice with steak. Each and every item was delicious. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff brought us their amazing pies. Very generous of them. We highly recommend the food and can't wait to go back again to try other dishes.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My wife and I were out and unfortunately witnessed management rudely accuse one of the patrons of smoking in the bathroom. My wife and I overheard the table explain the situation and even offered for them to go through their stuff to prove they were not the ones who did it. However, management was not having it. They even lied and said they smelled smoke coming from the table but neither my wife or I did. A shame such a nice restaurant to be staffed by such rude, antagonizing staff. I highly recommend you go to any of the other wonderful restaurants in Dublin where you won’t be mistreated.

This establishment is embarrassing. Management is horrible and they will profile you. The manager that goes by the name Nick accused my cousins ( one a nurse practitioner and a special education teacher ) of disrespecting their establishment without any proof further making my family uncomfortable. It’s nefarious that a family dinner was ruined by baseless claims. I urge you not to dine at this establishment. If you all could call the regional offices and report the general manager Nick. I wish I could give this place -1000000 stars. Get a load of this place.

My family and I dined at The Pearl Dublin on December 23rd to celebrate my cousin’s birthday while she was visiting from Montreal. While there were a few minor service hiccups, our server was kind and attentive and acknowledged the celebration with complimentary desserts, which we truly appreciated.
After dinner, my cousin and I briefly used the restroom. At the time, all stalls were occupied and one was out of service, so we waited. When a stall opened, my cousin kindly let me go first. I finished and stood outside the stalls waiting for her for about three minutes. During that time, I noticed several people going in and out of the restroom area. I also saw a man sitting in a chair along the hallway wall near the stalls, hunched over. Shortly after, a woman exited the restroom and grabbed him to leave. I thought nothing of it and minded my own business. I also observed the executive chef enter one of the restroom stalls.
When my cousin exited, she mentioned that the stall smelled strongly of smoke and that three girls had exited the stall before she entered. She said the stall smelled like marijuana but used it only because it was the only option available. She also pointed out that the man sitting outside appeared to be associated with the group who had been in the stall. We then returned to our patio table where our family was seated.
Our server brought out her birthday pie along with another complimentary dessert. She blew out the candle, we shared dessert, and we began preparing to leave.
A few minutes later, while we were still seated on the patio, the general manager, Nick Krafft, approached our table accompanied by Executive Chef Michael Wagner. We initially assumed he was checking in on our experience. Instead, he immediately stated, “I’m going to have to ask you not to smoke in our restaurant and bathroom,” directing the accusation at my cousin and me. We were completely taken aback by both the accusation and the manner in which it was delivered.
We calmly explained that it was not us and described exactly what we had observed in the restroom. We stated that neither of us smoke and never have. We even offered to have our belongings checked and explained that we had not taken any jackets or purses with us to the restroom, as our family remained at the table. Despite this, the general manager refused to listen or consider our explanation and continued to place blame on us. He did not speak to our server, who had interacted with us just moments earlier while bringing out the birthday dessert, nor did he attempt to investigate further or de-escalate the situation.
As we were leaving, my fiancé asked the general manager if he actually smelled smoke on either of us. He responded “yes,” which was not true, and continued to push a conclusion he had already formed. No apology was offered.
We spent over $1,000 celebrating a family birthday at a restaurant we had trusted and enjoyed in the past. Instead, the evening ended with my cousin’s birthday being overshadowed by an unfounded accusation. There were many guests dining that evening, yet blame was placed solely on two women who had simply used the restroom.
I am a Nurse Practitioner, and my cousin is a special education teacher for autistic children. Neither of us have ever smoked. Being accused in this manner was humiliating, hurtful, and completely unnecessary.
I was later contacted by the regional manager, who was understanding. However, I believe this situation highlights the need for better investigation, accountability, and staff training to prevent similar experiences in the future. A personal apology from Nick, acknowledging his actions and taking accountability, would be an appropriate step forward after innocent guests were wrongly blamed and a birthday celebration was ruined.
