We had a fun time at VASO. The food was different and creative (in a good way) and reasonably priced for the amount you got. Everything had plenty to share - it was a bit much for 2 but would have been perfect for 3 or 4. A great place for a fancier night out!
Unfortunately our experience at the Roof Top was disappointing. The first thing that went wrong was I emailed Katie Hotz to pre-order our food 4 days before our arrival and unfortunately she never responded until the next day after our reservation. What did this cause us unable to order the steaks we wanted. We rented an igloo and was only able to order shareable food items. We ordered the Bruschetta it was the worse I ever had, it tasted like canned mushed tomatoes plus we ordered...
Dining in an igloo on a rooftop is a unique experience. It was great fun with good food and good service. Prices are a little higher than normal, however, and one chicken dish was inedible — way too tough and chewy to eat.
