Very low-key restaurant that serves up a good meal. Our meal started with egg rolls and followed with an order of beef and broccoli along with the chicken and green beans and a side of the bean sprout, egg and onion fried rice. Everything came out hot and well paced. The spicy food was spicy but not overwhelmingly so.There was a decent drink menu, but we did not have anything off if it while we were there.Good meal and great service.

I used to work in Dublin area and so I used to go to Windchimes during lunch hour. This time I came here after 4 years due to pandemic and wfh. We went there on Sunday afternoon. It was not very busy and we did not have to wait to get the table. The service was prompt and all the food was delicious. We tried hot and sour soup and wonton soup. Chicken lettuce wrap. Mala chicken, Schezwan chicken and lo mein. Everyone loved all the dishes. I especially enjoyed mala chicken and the kids loved the wonton soup and lo mein. This was about food.I also used their restroom which was refreshingly clean and smelled very good. Thumbs up to cleanliness.

My husband and I went there for the first time, for our anniversary. Atmosphere/decor is nice. Service was good, but the food wasn't. I ordered the war su gai, hot-n-sour soup and egg roll. He ordered the sesame beef and a hot-n-sour soup. Soup was too sweet and barely any kick to it. My egg roll was old, rubbery and tasted like it was under a heat lamp for hours. The entree wasn't bad, although for me, war su gai should have crushed peanuts on it, or at least a side cup of em. My husband said the sesame beef was on the verge of burnt. His fried rice looked "off," as well. Price wasn't bad. When lady came over to give out bill, she flung two fortune cookies onto the table, like ping pong balls. Kinda rude. I'd give it one more try, because I know sometimes a certain cook can screw stuff up, etc., but beyond that, I wouldn't go again if 2nd time around sucks.
I called for a to go order at 3pm on 12/24/2023, we asked for a pick up time at 6:30pm. When we got there at 6:30 the waiting area was very crowded, it was hot, a fire code violation, and no direction on where to go to check in for pick up or where to check in for restaurant. It took us on hour past 6:30 to get our food, but I think we got ours early because I said I wanted a refund. There had been people sitting and waiting on to go order that they were to pick up at 5:30 who finally got their food at 7pm. An hour and a half wait for food is crazy! The person they had working the front to help, was not very helpful at all… he couldn’t tell you were your food order was, how long it would take, and seemed like he wasn’t no the appropriate person to work up front. While we were waiting a person came up who was eating in and said they have been at their table for 45 minutes and they had yet to have a server come over and get their drink order! I know and understand Christmas Eve is a busy night for Chinese restaurants, but they know this and should have been prepared. We have been going their for years for Christmas Eve dinner and not sure we will go back.
