Are you kidding Me? I would expect to get a crappy order of cheddar chili fries when your busy but there wasn't anyone in the drive thru and I ordered my usual ,like I have in the past 50 years! 2 cheddar chili dogs and a large or family size cheddar chili fries. It looked like they had a whole label of cheese and chili and drowned my dogs all over it..they were swimming in it. The frys were so under cooked ,they were white not brown or even close to be question to eat or not. I would gave rather waited than to eat cheese and chili over dogs and raw French fries covered in cheese and chili.. My God! This isn't rocket science. I've wanted to complain before ,but this Is the last for us! Damn shame!

Not just your normal hotdog place. The fries are some of the best I have had, they also offer more than just hotdogs, they have fish, chicken and Italian sausage. So anyone should be able to find something.

Ate there often. New owner must have changed cheese because the chile cheese fries and chile cheese dogs don’t taste the same as they were before.
Got a chicken sandwich and this was the lettuce I received on the sandwich........looks more like onions then lettuce

I've lived out of state for many years but grew up eating here and always visit the Hot Dog Shoppe as soon as I come into town. Some told me it wasnt the same because the new owners made some changes. Food was good, but definitely not the same. Original is definitely better! If you want to change something update the interior a little, lol. I think it's the exact same as it has always been.

I worked for Ray Trevelline in high school. Was a wonderful place to work. Now, with whoever owns it now- they have turned it into an unhygienic cash grab. The last 4 times I've gone there the total did not reflect the prices on the menu. I had to walk them through what was wrong. The very last (and final) time ordering in the drive through- they said my total was $30 I explained to them that I got a combo meal and the price wasn't right-- they corrected it to $12!!l!! Pretty convenient their screens don't show your order. Check your items before you leave as well- there was 100% MOLD on my fries.

Starting going here when I was working in their town. Hot dogs just taste better here! Don't know why but they do. They always have had great staff and it's always clean. They have many ways to dress up hot dogs but I go old school with mustard and onions. And even when they are busy( they usually are)! Service is quick. Never disappointed when I go there.
