I stopped in here with an old friend on Friday night after 20+ years of driving by and thinking it was just a winery, something that isn’t really my speed. Well, I was certainly wrong. Our server, Andrea, greeted us with a smile and had a sunny disposition the entire evening. She recommend a few beers that were delicious, provided us with excellent service, and shared some great conversation with her, some other employees, and several patrons. Fig and goat cheese salad was excellent...
All around excellent dining! Service is cordial and attentive. Atmosphere is unique and cozy. The food is phenomenal. Recommendations: fig & chèvre salad, ravioli, NY strip, crème brûlée. There is a bar in the front as well. You might have to park in the lot across the road if it’s crowded. Can’t say enough about how great JC Wine Cellars is!
I had the wonderful opporunity to visit JC Wine Cellars as I finished my day traveling for business through East Springfield. After a nice country drive from Massilon and Strasburg, I became hungry and boy, I was in for a treat. My business dinner for one started with a glass of Red, then Calamari, and the salad came with house vinegrette. But my smile got the widest when chef Murray and Janet delivered the most delish rare 16oz New York Strip...one of the best I've ever...
